Felicia Chin breaks down in Celebri-tea

Excerpt from Yahoo! news:

On last night's episode of Ch U's Celebritea Break, guest Felicia Chin tearfully broke down in the face of hosts Quan Yifong and Guo Liang's constant interrogations about the ongoing rumours about her alleged plastic surgery. Succumbing to the overwhelming pressure, the actress constantly fidgeted, scratching her head and then started tearing when the sensitive topic.

"I know a lot of people have said I did a boob and nose job," she calmly reiterated. Lee Teng, who Felicia's schoolmate in Victoria Junior College, defended his good friend and immediately retorted the hosts' questions. "Her bust area is real. You should know Guys like to observe such things and she is really quite busty. And at that point of time, it was the growth spurt for her."

Regarding talk about her double-eyelid job, Felicia revealed that one of her eyes used to be single eyelid while the other had a double-eyelid. After long-term usage of the double-eyelid tape, the single fold eventually developed a crease and became a double-eyelid.

The actress continued to express her opinions on plastic surgery, "It's ok. It is not a forbidden kind of surgery. If you really did it, you must bear responsibility. Plastic surgery is a very personal thing. In today's society, everyone is very modern."

However, as Felicia continued, her composure started to waver and she appeared restless. At the sight of this, Lee Teng chimed in support, and fired back questions at the two hosts. "If someone corrects their teeth, is that considered as plastic surgery?" When Guo Liang agreed to his statement, Felicia immediately interjected, "Then I have done plastic surgery! I used to wear invisible braces to push my teeth behind a little bit more!"

Before Celebritea Break closed for the night, Felicia's mood fluctuated and the actress was nearing a breakdown. Tears started to roll down her cheeks as she commented, "You guys have asked me a lot of questions that I do not know how to answer Sometimes I feel that I am not suitable for this line of work There are a lot of things going on in my mind and I don't really know how to express them."

Though I was kinda swayed at certain parts of the show, I still believe she is au-naturel. Don't know what the hype is about her having plastic surgery. If you look at it in a global way, Hollywood actresses depend on plastic surgery to bring in the big bucks. Demi Moore scored some of her biggest deals (eg, Ashton Kutcher) only after her massive plastic surgery.

Singaporeans are seriously way too confusing. One day, they talk about being open-minded, another day they emphasised on being traditional.

COM 205 lecture is a great time for blogging. WAHAHAHAHA.

Shoe haul update + review

As promised, here are the photos of my shoe purchases.
I am in love, once again. =)

This pair was 29.90 from Covet.
Far East Plaza is sick!

This is a surprise. I got it for 12.90. Very affordable and very chio.
I realise whenever I talk about shoes, I only have one word: CHIO! =)

Review of Laneige Water Sleeping Pack
Dear stufu got it for me!

What is written on the paper:
A gel-based cream light enough to wear during sleep for all night moisture renewal and revitalised skin in the morning.

How to use:
1. Apply coin sized amount and spread over face, in an outward motion
2. Sleep with it.
3. Rinse with lukewarm water in the morning, using cleansing foam if necessary.

How does it fare?
I am very much convinced.  I applied it after my moisturiser and after so much stuff on my face, I can still feel the gel penetrating through and working on my skin. There is a slight slight tingling sensation and the smell of the product is quite pleasant.
When I wake up, my face did not feel as oily as usual => very good. =)
After washing off with my cleanser, the skin is very moisturised! I LOVE THIS STUFF!

Thanks stephy! =)

back to mugging mode. boo.

Seen, wanted, gotten.

Life is too short to be overly hesitant on certain matters, especially on a matter that requires you to make decision based on your liking.

Yes, I am finding an excuse to humour myself.

I just bought 2 pairs of shoes just now (will post soon), and I have been lusting over this neon pink pair after I saw a girl wearing and rocking it at orchard mrt. And yes, I found it online for a mere 19 bucks. I am so in luck.

University days are the days when you can go crazy. Being in mass comm gives you another reason to be crazy. I have a lime green jacket, I have a sequin dress, I have a silver military jacket, what I need now are more attention-grabbing shoes. Very bored with the usual colours of black, brown, grey, yadah yadah. Need more COLOURS! Who cares if people talk about you, what's important is you like it and you feel good in it.

Yes, more excuses for shopaholic ways.

But seriously, I almost decided on the black one until I realised how boring that would make me look. Shoes are important!

How can you resist something so divine?

Today was Mao's birthday celebration. I am super paiseh because the card that I made was a disaster. Let me recount the incident again:

I was glittering and zzzng-ing the card (for you cavemen, zzzng-ing means gluing all the fake diamonds to a surface lar). I was so bushed that I fell asleep on the floor. When I awoke, part of my fringe was stuck to the glitter, and the glitter has dried up. I had no other choice but to cut part of my hair. Ultimate sadness can. After that, I was feeling rather nostalgic about longer fringe days and I stopped beautifying the card. Hence, the catastrophe.

However, it was a fun outing nevertheless. Went out with Michelle, Huimin and Pam before that and we spent half the time in the toilet because Pam couldn't force the contacts into her eyes. She had Dnd lar. HAHA. Thanks for the cup guys! =)

I had too much of a good food today:
  1. Nasi Padang at ION Orchard's Food Opera is fantastic. Tad too expensive but the beef rendang is to die for lor.
  2. Crystal Jade with gang. Extremely succulent roasted chicken. First time in my life have I ever encountered such a juicy piece of chicken breast. I am in love.
  3. Deserts and other sinful treats like Thosai and Prata opposite Beauty World Centre. Grape Nata De Coco was tooth-achingly sweet. Such heavy tastes after 11pm, tsk tsk tsk.
Need to diet. And need to think for the wallet. No more money now and I hope, no more fats soon. HAHA.

MAMBO NIGHT AT ZOUK

Went to ZOUK with my lovelies on Wednesday night.
Shall let the photos do the talking; for more, hop on to facebook.

The toilet was very crowded. Being the club no-longer-virgin that I am, I was rather fascinated when papa loh told me that the male toilet has condom dispensers. Suagu yes. =)

My lovely people! Still missing chay and rachel though.
And there goes my club virginity.=)

Another happening news: I AM PART OF NTU CAC CHOIR NOW!! hooray!

Tomorrow still need to be at CS at 945am for some chronicles thing. LOL. Horny Hui and I are posing with clickers for the nanyang chronicle. will be super retarded. =.=

Going to watch BRUNO now because papa loh said it was damn bloody disgusting. gua gua, with an exclamation like that, I definitely cannot miss it.

THANKS PAPAROTI!!

This post is dedicated specially for my lovely paparoti people. Seriously, you guys rock my world! I have to start from the beginning. Long long time way back....

The last segment of FOC was Angel and Mortal. They have two strings hanging from wall to wall and then on the strings were lots of letters from the various Angels (seniors) to their mortals (freshies). And yes, my letter was there.

So I took quite a while to reply mine because I was procrastinating, as usual, or because I was too forgetful.

And finally, I replied today.

Still nothing spectacular about that.

After COM 201 lecture, Mr Wilson Ng told me he saw a reply from my Angel. And yes, there it was, plus a birthday card and an Etude House plastic bag. So we were all, awwwww, your angel so nice. Then Mr Wilson Ng gestured some weird hand signal for me to turn the card (LOL), and then after like eons (W-O-L-S, I know), I realised the card and presents were actually not from my Angel, but from my OG!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I was super shocked can. LOL.

Thank you to:
Rachel, Wilson Wang, Eve, Horny huiling, papa loh (ronald), Samantha Kok Ying Hui, Wilsong, Stephanie Quek Huiying, Chay and Kenneth!! =)

You guys seriously made my day man. After that surprise, I am now more geared up to mug! The link is minimal, but happy mood equals happy mugging! =)

THANKS ONCE AGAIN!!
I LOVE YOU GUYS, MUACK MUACK!! =)

And these are my presents. muahahahahahaha. =)
I love paparoti, I love paparoti, I love paparoti. WOOHOO!

new findings

To those who love me and want to sms me or talk to me on the phone constantly, I am very sad to tell you that my phone has officially died. The only forms of contact that you can use to find me are through facebook or msn. Or call another person who knows me.

Sony Ericsson, I fucking condemn your phones for all my life.
STUPID PHONE THAT KEEPS HANGING EVERY 5 SECONDS!

So yes, I am very deprived now.

BUT, there's a fantastic finding this week! The Indonesian food stall at Canteen A, is fucking fantastic. I think it can rival the Plaza Singapura one. WALAO! DAMN NICE LOR! Or maybe it's because I was real hungry......nevertheless, the fish was damn crispy and she gave me 3 slices of fish. For $3.50, the meal was more than worth it. yum yum, i am going to go back.

Ok.

Things to do today:
1. complete 4 readings for COM 203, mind you, there are over 100 pages.
2. complete reading chapter 3 of COM 201 textbook
3. complete french homework.

amazing.

let the ride begin.

and here we go again...

another roller coaster week ahead. hold on to that grip!

been gone so long, now here i am again.

I am supposed to be doing a speech preparation for 205 tutorial tomorrow, but aiyah slack lar. I prefer uploading photos in facebook and updating my blog after being on a hiatus. So sorry for those who read my blog frequently. I was just too caught up with uni stuff.

This post is dedicated largely to my birthday, plus D&D (dee & dee as said by danielle) in the middle.

wee. wee. wee. emo. wee. wee. wee.

Yes, WKWSCI D&D 2009 is finally over.
Yes, we took a lot of photos.
Yes, there were people who missed the boat.
Yes, I forgot to bring my camera wires again. Chicken basket.

All I can remember of D&D is round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round.... (a bit of internal joke.)

D&D will be further elaborated when I get the photos up. For now, let's dwell on the more serious matter.

Once again, I have ashamed myself by behaving in a manner that I cannot even picture myself in. I tried to move in, but was very forcefully shooed out. Now, I am in a struggle. A struggle to find who I was and to move on. This is so bloody embarrassing. Happened before and happened again. Why can't I learn from stumbles? I am like enjoying the trips and falls.
I think I need to stop the fall. Fall too deep and I am a goner. Move on move on move on. I kept reminding myself and I kept going back.

Am I already confusing you? My purpose is to be as vague as possible because I don't really know who reads my blog. Wa I need to get it out of me. WALAO EH!

Need to sleep. Morning Rimmel workshop tomorrow at Orchard Hotel, then off to birthday celebration after that. Walao, need to wake up early to do some laundry. =.=

avalanche of emotions.

This week, though supposed to be really exciting, has been quite a disappointment. I really don't know what to do whenever I am faced with situation in which I am stuck on both sides. You want to be social, because if not you will have a miserable university life. But then again, you do not want to be social, especially if being social is a challenge. I have changed and the change is quite drastic.

The old me, approachable and will take the initiative to know more people.
The new me, like my comfort zone and sometimes unwilling to do more than what is expected.

I am not saying that my university friends are evil mean people. Nah, they are fantastic people. The problem lies with me. No longer can I chatter about anything under the sun. Now I think too much of what is to be spoken. THIS IS SO INFURIATING!

The nightmare does not end just there. Migraine has officially hit me FULL BLOWN. For 4 straight days, I have been suffering in silence. Vomiting, checked. Fainting, checked. Fear of light and sound, checked. Sudden blackness and then everything back to normal, checked. This is not good at all. I remember the neurologist saying that sometimes the problem is psychological. So is the problem above linked to my current condition?

And why is Battlefield constantly playing on 987fm? I am sick of that song already can?

migraine again

I had a taste of Amazing Race around Singapore today. Travelling to Aljunied, back to City Hall, then to Dhoby Ghaut, then back to Jurong East and finally to Boon Lay.

I bought a pair of F21 basketweave sandals, and I think I have found my new love - any kind of sandals. Sandals are such practical items for uni students who need to walk around the campus the whole day. Sandals are pretty and not feet-eating. Sandals are my new love.

There's something wrong with blogger so no photos for now. Boo.

Anyway, just a recap of what happened today. Boring but I have no topic to write about otherwise.

Jeremy, Lohla, Mao and I went hall-shopping again, and we went back to hall 13 to decorate the room. My pinboard is now half full with photos. =) I think Jo will get a shock when she comes back on Monday. HAHA.
After that we went to Canteen 13 for dinner. After hearing raves about the Korean food, I ordered the beef ramen. Serious major let-down. The ramen is just instant ramen lor. But the beef's nice. So balanced lar, neutral rating. =.=
Then went to Bakerzin for 50% off classic deserts. Ultimate sinful deed. NO MORE GOOD FOOD FOR THE WEEK!

I just realised that I have been remembering the wrong date for dinner and dance. It's Friday instead of Saturday. GAH! Now plans have to change, and I have to move a lot of stuff into hall tomorrow. Luckily, mao can help me with the moving. MAO IS STRONG! (quoted from msn conversation)

And Lohla is now my fake boyfriend. HAHA.

I am having super migraine and I just ate the caffox that lenny gave me.
It has ergotamine tartrate in it and it induces childbirth. Plus it will lead to coronary heart disease, itch, etc etc.
Fuck.

I WILL NOT DEPEND ON CAFFOX!

early birthday treat

Mom's treating Lenny, Lily and I to a scrumptious lunch buffet at Furama. Good food and good company, yum yum.

I have yet to touch on anything related to school, other than Tuition Grant application. Laziness bug just kicked in, not in any mood to study or read. Bah.

Pohchoon, Wenzhu and Lecky just booked next Sunday for my birthday celebration and Steph and Mela booked the actual day. Suddenly am feeling very loved. =) I love good friends!

Ah, I need to run off for lunch.
Homecoming at night. Very reluctant to go but free booze is a HUGE incentive. Shall smuggle some into my hall. HAHA.

history creates dreams

Yup, you heard me right. History creates dreams.
How so, you may ask.

Just go to the History lecture that I went to and the rest will fall into place.
It was boring with a capital B. However, the interesting thing is that though I was nodding my head off, I don't feel at all pissed about getting this kind of crappy elective. I guess it's the history streak in me. To copy SAJC, once a history student, always a history student.

The first thing I have to do when I get home is to read up on The Enlightenment. Completely had no idea what the lecturer was talking about. AND we only touched on the topic What is History? Very deep right? Also must read up on who the hell is Leonard Dan Ranke, or someone with a name close to that. ALSO, must brush up my politics, must brush up on current affairs, and like it or not, brush up on Iraq War and an irritating person called Bush.

However, NO SCIENCE AND MATH! Usually I will say I am speechless. However, as a CS student, I need to voice out my innermost feeling, which is, FUCK YEAH! =)

Things to buy when I get home and bring to hostel:
  1. Files from DAISO (preferably 6, each for the different subjects that I have)
  2. Print out photos at Harvey Norman and then buy thumbtack and paste all over my board! =)
  3. Decoration stuff from DAISO
  4. Decoration stuff for mao's birthday card. ARGH.
  5. A dozen bottles of mineral water. Ice Mountain is good. 3 for $1 at NTUC.
  6. Bring those pillows lar. I am soon to be Nearly Headless Fifi
  7. Blankets!
  8. More clothes
  9. Detergent
That's all that I can think about as of now. More soon. LOL.
I gotta go meet Ronald and Kenneth for Nanyang Chronicles meeting, and I haven't packed up for home. SHIT. Damn you online shopping!

hall life

First day of school is not a breeze at all. We were all shocked by the following:
  • Getting lost while finding ways to get to WKWSOCI
  • Long breaks.
  • Long walks from one place to another.
  • STARS
STARS is like your nus/smu style of bidding. Just that ours much easier, just be the fastest, and you are good for a semester.
I got all my choices, which are: History, French and Understanding China Today.

Yup all the choices are rather different from what I planned. Firstly, that's because we realised Year 3s and Year 2s are all doing STARS first, meaning Year 1s will get crappy electives. Hence, the strategy. French was very shocking, it has ALOT of vacancies. So weird.

Good thing to look forward to: tomorrow's the last day of school for the week. Thursday's lecture has been cancelled. I shall go home and SLEEP BIG TIME.
