yeah yeah yeah

ELF items collected.
But only instock items because the spree-er forgot about my order. LOL.

I think it's because I was collecting too many stuff.

So things to be expected on Friday:
  1. 4 ELF items
  2. 2 Maybelline items (I bought a dream matte mousse foundation + pulse perfecting mascara)
I wonder when will NYX stuff come.

I wanna drink chrysanthemum tea NOW.
Shall go pantry now. Lazy to mug anyway. =)

yes

I finally realised the importance of breakfast after some TV show on Channel 5.

Definitely going to bring lots of cereals to school.
Yum.

godlight speed

I am churning out review/haul posts because I know I won't update at all next week due to predicted busy schedule. =(

I went out with xiong dis today, more specifically with Lenny, Mao, Vincent, QiuMing, Junyi, Zihao, Lohla and Mervin. Photos will be uploaded to FB later.

Watsons has been quite generous with their samples lately.
Mao bought another moisturiser and he demanded a sample, and they gave him a Vichy Normaderm Anti-Imperfection Hydating Care, which obviously I took.

Also, if you saw the Cure Natural Aqua Gel display, it stated that you can ask any Watsons personnel for samples, and I took advantage of that. So I went to Watsons on 2 separate occasions and asked twice, hence the 4 samples. =)

CLEO magazine also gave some freebies. You gotta love freebies. YUM.

Review of BIO-ESSENCE Bio-Hydra Water Soluble Olive Cleansing Oil

First, I have to apply it all over my face.

And then, I have to apply water to it and it will turn milky.

As you can see, it didn't remove my waterproof mascara. This was after much scrubbing. I was kind of pissed off because I had to use my Loreal makeup remover wipes to get rid of the remaining makeup.

This was what I removed using the Loreal wipes AFTER I rinsed off the cleansing oil. Can you imagine how disappointed I was?

As for the smell (you know I'm a person who really puts focus on the smell of a product), it has the smell of baby lotion, so it was quite pleasant.

However, I'm not a fan of oil-based products. It gets messy and oil is everywhere!

Luckily this is a sample. Phew. I will not buy this product. I would rather stick to me good ol' wipes. Much more convenient and effective.

Review of Cure Natural Aqua Gel

This is a product of the other extreme. Extremely good. I am actually enticed to purchase the full-size product at Watsons.

How do you use it?

This is a really good exfoliator because it removes your dry skin cells without scratching your skin. After rinsing, my skin felt really clean without it feeling tight. When I applied my moisturiser, it was absorbed much more easily into my skin.

The only downfall is that I don't think it's fragrance-free as what is stated on the label. It has a mild medicinal smell which I don't fancy.

But other than that minor flaw, everything else is fantastic.

Should I get this in full-size?
ARGH.

By the way, my mom went back to Indonesia on Friday because my Grand-Aunt passed away.

(Ku-po da-dah ya. Terima kasih udah jaga Feifei waktu feifei masih kecil dan nakal. Feifei harap ku-po akan baik baik di surga)

She bought an iPhone case for me. HOORAY! Red leather some more. damn chio can. =)

Time to book in soon. Blergh.
I will also be getting my ELF items tomorrow. YAY! Will be collecting for huiling too! =)
Can't wait!

tata!
see you guys soooooooooooooon!

This is such a random post.

I am going crazy from all the History/206/208 readings and I just realised I have 202 readings as well. Before I go berserk and start biting my bolster, I shall post stupid photos. HAHA.

All these were taken using the trusted MacBook Photo Booth. Love Photo Booth. I even use it in the morning for make-up application, especially eyeliners. HAHAHAHAHA.

Crazy lecture sessions.

Costa - the pornstar wannabe

Kenneth - the foodie of the clique

During VERY BORING 202 tutorial.
That subject is utter uselessness, I tell you. The exam questions are like "How do you search for an information on a certain topic?" and that would be 10-20 marks. WTF.

My very chio roomie.
Amanpour loves her. HAHA.

My very chio blazer. YUM.

That's Rachel Lim from my 205 tutorial. HAHA. In CS, whenever you point your Photo Booth at someone, they will pose. HAHA.

horny kok - super camwhore. I have met my nemesis. HAHA.

As you can see, my thesis on CS students being camwhores is very factual.

and I'm a sold-out. I bought Rachel Liang's CD after she held a mini concert in NTU. I love her voice A LOT. She's damn chio as well. HAHA.

I cannot forget what wilsong said when he shook her hands during signing session. He said "ni chang ge hen hao chi" HAHAHAHAHA.

I was next in line and so I saw Rachel Liang's face go "what?!?!" HAHA.

Wilsong is classic.

If you think I study in hall, you are wrong.
I watch videos, read beauty and fashion blogs, get tired and get to sleep.

Actually after the aircon functioning, all Jo and I do everyday is sleeping. HAHA.

shucks.
have to go back to mugging.

Chillax session with xiong di later. HAHA. I shall call them xiong di from today onwards. Kakis just sound.... economical.... HAHA.

Rather jaded

I realise although I proclaim that I will stop shopping, I still do. HAHA. This is my mini-haul of the week.

NYX Round Lipsticks in Tea Rose and Fig

Fig is the one with the pink undertone, whereas Tea Rose has more nude essence in it. I was pleasantly surprised because the pigmentation of both lipsticks is commendable.

Fig is much more of a daring colour, I will definitely wear it when I know I won't be eating that much. HAHA.

Tea Rose is a little more subtle. More suitable for everyday wear.

Ah these NYX lipsticks are tempting me.

BTW, they do dry out when worn on their own, so slap on some gloss as well.

Reviews for Etude House Collagen Eye Patch

The package is FULL of product. After the desired 20 minutes, I scooped out some leftover product and applied on both eyes, and it's still not finished.

This is the funny part.

I applied both sides on both eyes and realised that both had different textures. One very smooth, and the other kinda rough like the photo below.

When it dried, I realised I didn't take out the plastic dividing the 2 masks. HAHAHA.
I am such a cuckoo.

The masks are well-fitted to contour round the eyes. Some eye masks are so frustrating because when you put them on, there seem to be endless air-bubbles that you must get rid off one by one. However, with this mask, once I applied it, it was smooth already. Thumbs up for that.

However, despite the raves of the packaging and application, I must say that the effects are non-existent. After the 20 minutes, my under-eyes circles do look a wee bit refreshed, but 2 hours later, we are back to square one.

A bit disappointing I must say.

Never will repurchase this. Boo.

Review of ZA True White Essence Mask

I had this for a while and so I decided to use it before it expires. The thing that I like about it is the smell, which is similar to the smell of all ZA skincare products. I'm just addicted to the smell. Musky yet a little bit fruity at the same time.

One very jarring difference between this mask and others is that it fitted my forehead perfectly. Most of the time, the piece of mask will be so big that I have to fold in some product for it to not stain my hair, but with this I see no purpose in doing that!

Also, this mask has the biggest eye section that I have ever seen. This is really good because you don't really want your face whitened and your eyes looking as dead as ever.

Over-all, this product is all right. I used it not for whitening purpose but more of a relaxation purpose. Whitening-wise i don't see much difference after the first application, so perhaps with religious applications, you can see the difference.

For the smell I will buy it again.

But perhaps I will choose the Future Defense range instead of True White because I have no intention of whitening my skin and since I am turning 21 this year, I need to take care of the skin! Mom said wrinkles will start forming when I'm 25 if I don't take good care. *shrieks*

Review of SilkyGirl Lash Prism in Black

I bought this in Malaysia last month at a very discounted rate, so I thought this mascara was going to be a joke.

How demented that thought was.

I AM VERY IMPRESSED AND WILL BUY ALL THE COLOURS!

First, let's talk about the wand. It has a mild hourglass shape and the wand is not the rubber type which I much prefer.

The formula of the mascara is also rather surprising. I thought it would either dry up in an instant, or be so runny that I would have panda eyes right after application. Obviously, both thoughts were wrong. The formula was just right. Not too runny, and yet not so thick that it will immediately clump up your lashes within the first application.

Also, this is waterproof and I prefer waterproof formula because they can hold curls better than non-waterproof ones and since I wear makeup for a whole day, I don't want my mascara melting under the blastering hot Singapore sun.

The most amazing thing is that it curls without me curling my lashes prior to application. This saves me time, well like 10 seconds, but still saves time! =)

LOVE LOVE LOVE=)
When SilkyGirl has a promotion, I AM GOING TO BUY ALL THE COLOURS! There's a Brown one, a Blue one and a Violet one. Hmmm. Maybe I should get a back-up of Black! =) YAY!

morning mugging

I'm in a very cheery mood.

Hot cereal accompanying my quest on finishing 204 readings.
And then off to some History readings.

I cannot wait for a morning shower. Cold water shower!
If I have time I shall experiment with Photoshop.
The inspiration has yet to hit me. haha.

But,
never will I willingly start on 208. oh no no no.

Monday, January 25, 2010

ohmyfuckinggosh.

I'm staying in hall over the weekend because I have a job offer in CS.

Although the money is good, I don't wanna be confined to my hall. =(

At least I can study.
Positive thinking, positive thinking. Ohmmmmm.

Sunday, January 24, 2010

yes you can

When life takes a turn for the worst:

  • watch funny videos on YouTube
  • call your dearest friends and just rant.
  • head into the shower and have a cold pour
when nothing seems to work its magic, get a beer and drink.

For that I thank Steph, Lohla, Mao and Lenny for not letting me turn to the last resort. I have no idea why I'm doing this, but I guess our friendship will last, that I can guarantee.

Steph, we need to meet soon. Where's that Mela. All of us are so busy!! Maybe one day, I will stay in hall over the weekend and you guys can come in. =)

Lohla, I always nag at you for no good reason. That's because you are the only one that I can show this character of mine to. Sorry if sometimes it's hurtful, but most of the times, I don't really mean what I say. =(

Mao, ALLIANCE POWER! Thanks for coming back and forth from hall, etc. And YOU ARE STILL THE BIGGEST CONTRIBUTOR TO MY WATSONS CARD! =)

Lenny, we always have the same thoughts on certain matters. That helps when usually what I think is considered a minority in the society. Having a friend with the same perspectives is comforting.

For all friends out there, cheers to all of you and let's make our worlds better!

Be sober, be trustworthy and most importantly be friends forever.

migraine + bad blood = awake since 4am

It has been a while since I last posted a proper post. School has been fast and furious and the money in the pocket has been escalating downwards at an alarming rate. I am not worried because I have nothing to eat, I am worried because I have no money to shop. Sad to say it, but I have turned into the ultimate shopping addict.

I have been thinking about INSTEP (NTU's global exchange scheme) and I have narrowed my choices down to 3 universities: Hong Kong Baptist University (whose photos are not included in this post), Lugano University in Switzerland and Monterrey Tech in Mexico.

Hong Kong Baptist University sounds like a good idea because it's within Asia so it's relatively cheaper and all, but the standard of living is higher than in Singapore. So I will be living a pauper's life.

I fell in love with Lugano because of what I expect to see there, according to Google images.
I really want to experience a country of little hassle and not be so polluted by the urban atmosphere. I want a relaxing experience because of how busy Singapore is. Look at it! Gorgeous much? I need to start a campaign on Lugano so that my friends will go with me. =)

Monterrey Tech in Mexico caught my attention because it had History of Ancient Mexico offered. I have a love-hate relationship with history. I like to know facts but I hate to be tested on them. So how like that?

It's located in the safest country in South America and Google images are certainly hooking up the appeal. GAH. I need to decide!

Let me know your thoughts! Very very much appreciated. =)

Onto my haul post of the week.

I went to Bugis last weekend with mao, lenny and lohla! They did most of the shopping, kinda surprising. I was on a roll to find clothes for them, so I neglected myself. In the end, Lohla got a chio black top and Levi's jeans, mao got a chio top from the same shop as Lohla and Lenny got some birthday presents for certain February babies.

And I got a pair of boots from Bugis Street. Weeeeeeeeeee.
It was a steal at $15. I went to the same shop previously with Horny hui (whom I shall be calling choong from next post onwards. wahahaha) and it was $20.
So I guess I was lucky?

I love this pair of boots hell lot because it's so comfortable and still have an edgy feel due to the studs. Definitely going to bring this to hall tonight! YUM!

I also went to THE MEGA FLEA MARKET at Singapore Expo Hall 6 with Chay, Wang, Song and Quek. All NTU students were invited because I think the organiser was an NTU grad or something. They also had a shuttle bus service from NTU to Expo. However, Chay drove us to the location because she lived in the east (where exactly? Bedok? Can't remember) and she had her limegreen cute car with her that day (Friday). And so we had fun trying to distract her and risking our dear lives.

The flea market was mega fail though. Why so?
  • They opened at 10am. When we reach there at 2pm, only 1/3 of the tenants were ready to do some selling. That means if we reached early, we have nothing to feast our eyes on?
  • It's a flea market. But they were selling BRAND NEW stuff from blogshops. HALO! What's the point of a flea market if you sell new stuff? Prices soar up to 30 bucks in a flea market and the apparels are not even branded. Seriously chao navi..
  • It occupied 1/3 of the Expo hall. So if you do your math from point 1, we actually only had 1/9th of the hall to see see look look. What is this.
I did get something though. Chay was eyeing this pair of flats from newlook and she contemplated for the longest time ever on whether or not to get it. After she decided not to, I asked her, "really don't want ar?" and I TOOK IT! HAHAHA. We wear roughly the same size so YAY TO ME!

It was 10 bucks. I think it now still retails for 26.90 at newlook.
and yes, it's back to my love for florals. =)

The BLUE EYES Pop Beauty finally arrived on the mail. And here is my most sincere review on it.

The packaging is as lovely as always. Anything shiny and has loud colours attracts my attention, and so nothing can go wrong with emerald shiny leather and light blue gems. =)

When I first opened it, I realised this trick that PopBeauty uses to lure the customers to buy the palettes. Their colours are always so much more bright in the listed picture on site and at the back of the packaging where they described the colours. Hence, I was a little disappointed by these muted colours.

The brush is amazing though. No qualms about the brush at all. It's now officially my highlight brush. yippyyayyay.

Swatches.

My favourite colours are the bright purple/blue on the most left hand side and the pink in the middle. The bright purple shows up much nicer on the lid because the blue glitters will reflect the light and the colour seems much more perkier (a weird word to use, but you get me..). The pink is an unexpected choice of colour because usually I stay away from pinks as they make my lids look puffy and swollen. But this pink is so pretttttttttttttttyyyyy. It's matte and it makes my eyes look super refreshing, especially when I applied it to the first quarter of the lids. I am a happy girl.

They included a lot of highlight colours too, which matches my skin tone. Love.

I used this palette 4 times last week, which is a big deal because I always end up going back to the 88 palette.

I was on CozyCot and I had a lot of reward points due to the number of reviews I contributed to the site, and so I changed them for some samples! =)

The girl was so nice. She gave me more samples than I clicked for. Plus, she included a tiny laptop sleeve and and a shu uemura ring file. All are stored safely in hall. Definitely going to do more reviews and take more samples. ultimate yayness.

Life in hall has been pleasant this week, and all because of the aircon. We are all slaves of technology. Jo and I promised ourselves that we would only use the aircon when we feel hot. Nope. We switched it on EVERYTIME we are in the room. Money wasting but oh so sinful and nice.

What happened yesterday was a shame. However, I still stand by my maxim that friends are meant to be reassuring each other and no matter how short/long a friendship is, it should be taken very much seriously. Guys are supposed to have balls. but how come suddenly some have no balls? Filth.

Need to go back hall again lor. chao navi.
STIL GOT HOMEWORK! chao chao chao navi.

emo

Friendship - a complex relationship I have yet to fathom.

Do people know me because I make them know me, or do they know me because they want to know me and recognise as a friend?

Sometimes I cry over friendships.
And I predict the next one coming.

I see no real friendship building. Well at least not WITH me. For others, it seems so natural.

Emo-ing over stuff like this may seem rather illogical. But trust me, friendships are harder to handle than love. Seriously.

Go back to sleep, suck thumb, and cry.

sickos.

(From another blog. I'm just helping to spread the word. Rather sad)

This is one of the most notorious and worst cases of torture murder ever recorded in history. It is also one of the most horrifying and heartbreaking.

Exactly twenty years ago, a sixteen year-old girl was going through the most unimaginable pain, waiting for the endless suffering she was going through to end. For 44 days, nobody helped her.

Her killers are now free men. Justice has never been served, not even after 20 years.

Once you hear the story, it is not easily forgotten. Her 44 days of suffering will forever be known.

WARNING: FOR STRONG AND COMPASSIONATE HEARTS ONLY:

On November 22, 1989:
Junko Furuta was a girl in Japan who was held captive in a house by four boys. There, she was raped countless times, then tortured to death in unimaginable and incomprehensible ways for 44 days. She was 16 years old.

————————————————————–
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junko_Furuta
——————————————————————
(from Wikipedia)

The crime:
In November of 1988, Boy A (then 18), Boy B (Jo Kamisaku, then 17; Kamisaku was a new family name he took after being released from prison [1]), Boy C (then 16) and Boy D (then 17) from Tokyo abducted and held Furuta, a second year high school (grade 11) student from Saitama Prefecture in Misato, for 44 days. They kept her captive in the house owned by the parents of Boy C.

To forestall a manhunt, Boy A coerced Furuta into calling her own parents and telling them that she had run away from home, but was with “a friend” and was not in danger. He also browbeat her into posing as one of the boys’ girlfriends when the parents of the house where she was held were around, but when it became clear that the parents would not call the police, he dropped this pretext. Furuta tried to escape several times, begging the parents more than once to help her, but they did nothing, apparently out of fear that Boy A would hurt them. Boy A was at the time a low-level yakuza leader and had bragged that he could use his connections to kill anyone who interfered.

According to their statements at their trial, the four of them raped her, beat her, introduced foreign objects including an iron rod into her vagina, made her drink her own urine and was fed cockroaches, inserted fireworks into her anus, and set them off, forced Furuta to masturbate, cut her nipple with pliers, dropped dumbbells onto her stomach, and burned her with cigarettes and lighters. (One of the burnings was punishment for attempting to call the police.) At one point her injuries were so severe that according to one of the boys it took more than an hour for her to crawl downstairs to use the bathroom. They also related that “possibly a hundred different people” knew that Furuta had been imprisoned there, but it is not clear if this means they visited the house at different times while she was imprisoned there, or themselves either raped or abused her. When the boys refused to let her leave, she begged them on several occasions to “kill (her) and get it over with”.

On January 4, 1989, using one of the boys’ loss at mah-jongg as a pretext, the four beat her with an iron barbell, poured lighter fluid on her legs, arms, face and stomach, and set her on fire. She died later that day of shock. The four boys claimed that they were not aware of how badly injured she was, and that they believed she had been malingering.

The killers hid her corpse in an 55-gallon drum filled with cement; the perpetrators disposed the drum in a tract of reclaimed land in Koto, Tokyo.

Arrest and punishment

The boys were arrested and tried as adults; but, because of Japanese handling of crimes committed by juveniles, their identities were sealed by the court. However, a weekly magazine Shukan Bunshun reported their real names, claiming “Human rights aren’t needed for brutes.”[2] Furuta’s real name and details about her personal life were reported exhaustively in the media. Kamisaku was judged as a sub leader, at least according to the official trial.

The four boys pled guilty to a reduced charge of “committing bodily injury that resulted in death”, rather than murder. Boy A’s parents sold their house for approximately 50 million yen and paid this as compensation to Furuta’s family.[citation needed]

For his participation in the crime, Kamisaku served eight years in a juvenile prison before he was released, in August 1999. In July 2004, he was arrested for assaulting an acquaintance, whom he believed to be luring a girlfriend away from him, and allegedly bragged about his earlier infamy. [1] Kamisaku was sentenced to seven years in prison for the beating.

Junko’s parents were dismayed by the sentences received by their daughter’s killers, and enjoined a civil suit against the parents of the boy in whose home the crimes were committed. When some of the convictions were overturned on the basis of problematic physical evidence (the semen and pubic hair recovered from the body did not match those of the boys who were arrested), the lawyer handling the civil suit decided there was no case to be made and refused to represent them further. (There is speculation that the evidence may have been contaminated—for example, by unidentified persons who raped Furuta.

One of the most disturbing parts of this true story is that her killers are now free. After putting Junko Furuta through all that suffering, they are free men.

****-What they did to her and the suffering-****

These horrifying things done to Junko Furuta had been collected through the Japanese court trial of the case, and blogs from 1989. They show the pain that Junko Furuta had to endure before she was finally dead. All this had happened to her while she was still alive. They are disturbing, but the truth.

All of this had happened.

-

DAY 1: November 22, 1988: Kidnapped
Kept captive in house, and posed as one of boy’s girlfriend
Raped (over 400 times in total)
Forced to call her parents and tell them she had run away
Starved and malnutritioned
Fed cockroaches to eat and urine to drink
Forced to masturbate
Forced to strip in front of others
Burned with cigarette lighters
Foreign objects inserted into her vagina/anus

DAY 11: December 1, 1988: Severely beat up countless times
Face held against concrete ground and jumped on
Hands tied to ceiling and body used as a punching bag
Nose filled with so much blood that she can only breath through her mouth
Dumbbells dropped onto her stomach
Vomited when tried to drink water (her stomach couldn’t accept it)
Tried to escape and punished by cigarette burning on arms
Flammable liquid poured on her feet and legs, then lit on fire
Bottle inserted into her anus, causing injury

DAY 20: December10, 1989: Unable to walk properly due to severe leg burns
Beat with bamboo sticks
Fireworks inserted into anus and lit
Hands smashed by weights and fingernails cracked
Beaten with golf club
Cigarettes inserted into vagina
Beaten with iron rods repeatedly
Winter; forced outside to sleep in balcony
Skewers of grilled chicken inserted into her vagina and anus, causing bleeding

DAY 30: Hot wax dripped onto face
Eyelids burned by cigarette lighter
Stabbed with sewing needles in chest area
Left nipple cut and destroyed with pliers
Hot light bulb inserted into her vagina
Heavy bleeding from vagina due to scissors insertion
Unable to urinate properly
Injuries were so severe that it took over an hour for her to crawl downstairs and use the bathroom
Eardrums severely damaged
Extreme reduced brain size

DAY 40: Begged her torturers to “kill her and get it over with”

January 1, 1989: Junko greets the New Years Day alone
Body mutilated
Unable to move from the ground

DAY 44: January 4, 1989: The four boys beat her mutilated body with an iron barbell, using a loss at the game of Mah-jongg as a pretext. She is profusely bleeding from her mouth and nose. They put a candle’s flame to her face and eyes.

Then, lighter fluid was poured onto her legs, arms, face and stomach, and then lit on fire. This final torture lasted for a time of two hours.

Junko Furuta died later that day, in pain and alone. Nothing could compare 44 days of suffering she had to go through.

When her mother heard the news and details of what had happened to her daughter, she fainted. She had to undergo a psychiatric outpatient treatment . Imagine her endless pain.

Her killers are now free men. Justice was never served, not even after 20 years.
They deserve a punishment much greater than they had put upon Furuta, for putting an innocent girl through the most unbearable suffering.

This story from 1989 is true. Please spread her story around. Everyone should know about the existence of Junko Furuta’s unimaginable and incomprehensible suffering, and this is why this group has been made.

Invite your friends. Never let her story be forgotten. If this story changes the life of at least one person then it has been worth it.

Rest In Eternal Peace,
Junko Furuta

sick and dedicated

I'm feasting on YouTube videos on How-To videos to perfect my makeup skills and to prepare for audition on Monday.

Very excited about it!

But rather stupid to be doing it now because I'm really sick. Oh man.

Shall get my sister to be guinea pig tomorrow. MUAHAHAHA.

frail but full of energy to blog

The bliss of eating buffet.
Went out with siaoginas to feast on some fab dim sum, and the har gao and siew mai cannot be underestimated. We ordered too much though. In the end we had to rely on good ol' "zhong ji mi ma" to finish off the food to avoid paying for wastages.

After that, I met up with wilsong, kenny and huiying to watch The Blind Side. Sandra Bullock is an awesome actress. Loved her since Ms Congeniality and loving her always. Will do a proper blogpost on that soon.

Long awaited hauls.
I am crazy, I know. But I'm not complaining.

Some school essentials from Daiso. I bought some snacks too to feed my days in hall.

I went out with huiling last Wednesday and I almost had a heart attack at the 8 for 10 bucks earrings counter. She bought 2, I completed the other 6. woots.

Belts. 3 for 10 bucks. Huiling got the other 1. I realised I have wasitbelts, but they are all elastic. That means that on fat days, I will bulging at uncouth places. Ew. So I need something fitting but not TIGHTfitting.

Ripped jeans for 15 bucks. (oh no. Huimin is crying. sorry got distracted by Together) I need another pair of ripped jeans, this time in a darker wash.

Cotton On dress for 10 bucks. Very comfortable. I love it so much that I got another one in blue from Ebay for 5 bucks. Nice.

FOX was having 50% off storewide and I couldn't resist the Disney pullovers. Good for lazy days.
Cotton On is really earning money from me! =) I got the black shorts for 5 bucks because it was stated that it had a hole at the back pocket. But, no le, no hole at all le. =?

Ah. My love for sequins... 10 bucks for this is a steal. The only problem with Cotton On is you have the fear of wearing the same thing as someone else. That's why I will be wearing it to SCHOOL because who in the right mind wears sequin skirts to school? Only demented people like me do that. HAHA.

Cute bag from CozyCot. This was 13.50. and was brand new. I have to iron out those disasters though.

Sequin sneakers from Cotton On - 10 bucks. Huiling helped me buy this at JP and I gave her my F21 skirt in exchange because it was so puffy on me. =(
But she likes the skirt, so yay! and congrats to the anniversary chan! HAHA. free advertising. I am a good friend. =)

Another pair of booties from the same seller from CozyCot. This was 16.50 and brand new as well. I wonder why she sold it for such a low price. It was quite comfortable, but the thing that I like most about this is that it's covered to the ankle - means I can wear socks inside (I got it a size bigger). YAY!

She threw in a free ASOS ring too. Also brand new. Love it. =)

Onto beauty haul...

11 masks for 9 bucks. I gave 1 away to huiling because obviously I was such a nice friend. Cue the vomit voices but very unappreciated. =)

SilkyGirl lipglosses Buy One Get One free! So both for 7.90. I really hate the applicator though. Not a fan of brush applicators. =/ I like doe-foot applicator much better because it applies lipgloss much more evenly.

NYX products. All these for 11.50. I like the round lipsticks a lot. I got it in Galaxy, Summerlove and Circe (from left). The eyeliners suck though. HAHA. Swatches are in exact order.

without flash

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw these on Ebay. They were 2 bucks each. They were brand new and still sealed. They retail for 5 times the price in Watsons. Is that a good enough reason?

I realise this photo is upside down. LOL.

I bought this for 1.05 on Ebay. Brand new and still sealed. Definitely can remove my eye makeup. Not that successful with waterproof mascara though.

Stopped by Etude House today because the free gift that they were giving out today was my favourite mask! =) The other purchases were rather silly. But I really needed the sponges for my liquid foundation. (excuses, excuses...)

Since this palette has yet to arrive in the mail, I'm using a photo that I have taken from the net. (ohmygod, i feel sorry for the boy...=( sorry got distracted by the show again...)

Pop Beauty palette for Blue Eyes. The Green Eyes palette was a damn good purchase. Smooth application and very pigmented. Still waiting for it to arrive though.

Oh it was 7.90 from Ebay. =) Retailing for 62 at Sephora. Writing that felt good. HAHA.

I'm very sick right now and I need to rest since I'm going to Bugis again tomorrow. The throat is killing me. Oh my gosh.
