Trip anxieties

I lied about the previous post being the last post till my trip ends. This will be the last post. I'm so worried about the upcoming trip, and I don't even know why I'm worried. I hope everything goes smooth and well, without any mishaps.

God please protect us.

Ok I really should stop being a worrywart.

OOTD + Another haul!

I'm two days away from stepping foot on Paris's grounds and breathing in chic Parisian air, but I'm kind of having a to-and-fro feeling about the upcoming, and last, 22-day trip around France, Italy and Spain. On one hand, travelling around Europe is always an eye-opener. On the other hand, I will come back to Stockholm on the 21st of June, marking my last 10 days in this Scandinavian wonder. Bittersweet, definitely bittersweet.

I keep complaining on how I miss home and how I want to go back to Singapore, but after a full 5 months, I have grown feelings for my hostel room, for my Lappis community and for Stockholm. Though I will definitely will not miss the snowy catastrophe that made me slip and fall after every 10 steps or less.

...which is why I went out shopping today. I want to shop in H&M as much as possible first before it comes to Singapore and becomes the it-shop for ahlians. And not forgetting, Lindex, Bikbok, Gina Tricot, Weekday and Monki.

Starting with my outfit for today!

Top: Bugis
Jeans: ZARA
Shoes: TOMS
Belt: ZARA
Necklace: eBay
Bangles: thrifted + Forever 21
Rings: eBay (owl) + Bratislava flea market (purple square)

This Kaiyang is a very nice person. He came to Stockholm with the Hada Labo moisturiser, but he didn't use a lot because he has other moisturisers, so he gave it to me! AIYOH SO NICE. :D
YAY! Another moisturiser to try out and I have heard so much good reviews about this product, hence I am very very excited!

Something random that popped up recently at ICA (my mamashop). The coconut + mango one is simply divine. DIVINE.

Haul from a very successful shopping trip!

Bikini top from Bikbok - 99SEK (I intend to wear it under sheer tops, will look major chio)
Black bandeau from Gina Tricot - 59SEK

Grey striped flowy top from Gina Tricot - on sale for 49 (!!) SEK

Orange striped flowy top with asymmetrical hem from Gina Tricot - once again for 49 SEK.

Plain Brown top from Weekday - WOOPIEDOOPIEDOO on sale for 50 SEK!

Graphic grey top from Weekday - on sale for 90SEK (looks horrible in the photo, but in real life, it's baggy and cropped)

Mustard tank from Lindex - 79SEK

Striped tube from H&M - 50 SEK (also to be worn under sheer stuff)

Cream cardigan from H&M - on sale for 100SEK

Laser cut grey shorts from H&M - on sale for 100SEK (this is my favourite purchase, have been lemming for it since March!)

Navy chinos from H&M - on sale for 75SEK

Bright coral shorts from H&M - 99SEK (finally found a similar pair of shorts to the previous ASOS lemming post)

Denim high-waisted shorts from H&M - 100SEK (this is too big on me, so I guess I can't wear it high-waisted, but for the price, I just had to get it! HEE)

Major heartpain for the wallet, but this is very therapeutic and very very very beneficial for the mind. :D

This post will be my last post till I come back from Madric on the 21st! Hope you guys take care and enjoy life yo! :)

Been diggin'

Anything flowy or bright-coloured. If only I had an unlimited credit card.

Colourful-Eyes Day 3 and 4 + OOTD

What a downer for such a beautiful day.

But one bite of this chocolate can make me happy again. How can I not be happy after eating MANGO CHOCOLATE?! Nope, it's not just mango essence, it's real mango bits inside with a coating of mango sugar. SUPER OH-EM-GEE. I'm going to hunt this thing down and bring it back to Singapore. Thank you Cedrick and Joanne for the nice gift!

Colourful-Eye Project Day 3 was quite hilarious. I thought of green and only green for the lids, but the problem is I was going nowhere that day, so what I did was put full makeup right after I woke up, then took it all off, washed my face and went back to sleep. HAHAHA.

But here it is, dark green in the outer corner, and a bright green in the inner lids! :D

Colourful-Eye Project Day 4: Dark blue!

The awesome thing about donning dark eyeshadows like this is that you don't really need an eyeliner to define your eyes, if you are in a rush. I was rushing to meet Yisan to go to the museum and so the no-eyeliner trick saved me loads of time! :D

My skin is horrible. Seriously in need of facials when I get back.

Outfit of the day for my trip to the museum!

Maybe I will be going to Kista tomorrow to do some shopping at Monki! That is if my mom transfers the money by tomorrow. So so poor now. :(

Urban Decay awaits + my current lemming

I am quite happy to announce that with the help of eveyeoyuping, I have finally acquired the Urban Decay NAKED Palette. I cannot wait to get my hands on this baby and do some AWESOME swatches and do some AWESOME looks. :D

And yes, I got myself the one with the brush (I think the set that comes with the dual-ended eyeliners will never be produced again) and I'm fine with that BECAUSE...

... konkon aka chanhuiling also helped me purchase the Urban Decay 15-year-anniversary 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil Set! :D Greatly anticipating the moment I get these from konkon. SO EXCITED! :D

And I think, I will purchase the Elizabeth Arden Pure Finish Mineral Powder at one of the duty-free shops in Europe, IF I CAN FIND IT. If not I shall settle for Changi Airport! :D

Life is good now, especially with all my essays done and dusted! Maybe I should go to the museum near my hostel tomorrow to really enjoy my last moments in Stockholm! :(

Colourful Eyes Day 2 + OOTD + some rambling

It's quite funny how strangers email me and comment about my mismatched eyebrows and how they actually like me for posting photos of my mismatched eyebrows. Life works weird that way. Strangers that don't really know you are the people that give you good (or bad) judgements that you will cherish (or loathe).

After catching up on GLEE episodes, I figured I need to really love myself before I can learn how to love others. Very cheesy but that Born This Way performance and the entire episode about loving yourself really struck a chord.

As of now, I am in the process of trying to believe that I am fine the way I am, but this is a process that is difficult to take. SO, I have embarked on YET ANOTHER mission which will allow me to get to know myself a little bit better, and that is by writing in a diary. Old-fashioned but letting your frustrations out is the first step to understanding yourself. HOORAY TO THAT.

Another matter that caught up with me is how lonely I have become, compared to the others here in Stockholm. Everyday, my friends are going out, having fun while I am alone in my room. Not because I don't want to go, but because nobody asked. But, I realised being vexed over such things is ridiculous and will rake up too much emotional wastage, so I AM NOT GOING TO BE EMONEMO ABOUT IT.

I have 19 days left in Stockholm (39 if you count my last eurotrip to France, Italy and Spain) and I will not let these 19 days be full of self-hatred. YES I WILL LOVE MYSELF.

And I think my best lover here in Stockholm is the photobooth. HAHA. :D Sounds so so so sad but I like making funny faces and making other people's day by looking at funny me! :D

And those who love my mismatched eyebrows, thank you! YOU GUYS SERIOUSLY MADE MY DAY! :D

Colourful-eyes DAY 2! I can't seem to take the best photo that will do the colours justice! In this photo, everything looks like a blob of brown, BUT NO I DID NOT CHEAT. I used gold in the inner corners and orange in the outer corners!

Maybe tomorrow I shall try yellow and green! HEEHEE. :D

Outfit of the day!

Shades: thrifted from Berlin
Tank: monki
Denim outerwear: Cheap Monday
Pants: Urban Outfitter (Silence & Noise)
Sandals: from Athens
Bracelet: H&M
Rings: from SG and thrifted from Budapest

I like how the flash function makes my skin look so even-toned. In real life, I have the horrid disease of uneven skintone due to the strong Greece sunlight! BOO.

My new sandals from Athens! Made in Athens and specially customised for my feet! For 20 euros, I think it's worth it because wearing it with the outfit above made me look so chillax. Got street-busker/wannabe-artist feeling. HAHA.

More tomorrow! :D
