anger management issues

Before I address my take on anger management, I would like to post this photo here.
I received an email a few days ago asking me whether I photoshop or edit my photos in any ways. The answer is yes and no. I only photoshop a photo whenever it has sentimental values i.e. a gathering with someone I missed, or when I don't really like the lighting of the photo.
I do not cover up facial flaws using photoshop, I do that using makeup. The photo up there has no editing whatsoever. It just so happens that at 2pm everyday, the lighting from my window is excellent for self-shots. And, sometimes it's just the correct angles at the correct time. haha. =)

This was what I wore to Ruiping's birthday celebration and HBP. I rediscovered my leopard blazer in a huge way. =)

I simply love the combination! =)

I'm now done with the light-hearted issues. Moving on to the always-fashionable topic of anger management.

The reason why I am embarking on such an issue is because I have just witnessed how anger can change and hurt an individual.

As you all already know, the man we all know is not the most friendly guy you will know. And yes, he has just stepped up a notch in his quest of becoming the worst man I have ever seen in my life.
My mom of course will always be the victim. Sad for her. Sad for me too, cause I can't do anything as she chose to stick with it.

Whenever he has a problem, he will go crazy. Door slamming, voice at the top of his lung, face so scrunched up it looked like a used table towel. Then, my dear mom, as foolish as she almost always is, will choose that exact timing to ask him a question regarding groceries, laundry or just anything simple. And then he will bark like crazy. It's just like a bomb. And my mom is the one who always drops it.

I think my mom has extreme optimism almost to the extent of extreme foolishness.

But hey, it's not about my mom.

Being angry is one thing, being angry and making people around you hurt is another.
For me, his outrages are common. Much like waking up and then eating breakfast. It's that common. I have been the object of his utter cuckoo-ness for a while. As soon as I turn 17, he realised I could no longer be a punching bag. I knew how to retaliate and I won every single round. Therefore, he turned to my mother.

She cries a lot. I just don't let her know of my knowledge. I can only look from afar and do nothing. That hurts me a lot.

So...
For people with anger management issues, please do get help while you can now. It's easy to deny your problem. It's easy to let the anger out on someone. But when your anger has led to someone's despair and depression, it's no longer as easy.

If you have some problems now, and you accidentally take it out on your best friends, an apology will be suffice. However, if you do that umpteen times, no longer will your best friend be there for you. Waking up from a nightmare is easy, waking up from reality is not. I understand that sometimes, life's just too hard to understand. Still, you should not forget who are the people who care.
Being bitter is okay for a while, but don't be bitter for too long. I used to think my friend was a person with his values in the correct direction, however after that incident, he has evolved into someone completely different.
Ending the friendship was heartbreaking. Him still not realising his mistake is even more heartbreaking. I still tear up when I really think deep into the matter. No matter what we were very good friends for a long time. The three musketeers are now really gone. And his challenge is now a thing of the past. "see who will lose out more" is not a sentence easily taken in by someone as quick-tempered as me. His words have scarred the friendship.
It's not about his nice house, his rich parents or whatever else. I treasure the friendship more than those. I guess he doesn't know me well enough to see that I'm beyond such shallow wants.
Oh well. let it be.

Ya, it's two different matters altogether.

But still, please do not let you anger break your life. It's not worth it.

Anger is not something I would like to be associated with, that is why I have been trying my very best to halt the emoing sessions and all. I have tried my very best to be cheerful about everything and to look at the positive light of things.
I'm glad I tried.
I don't want to hurt anyone dear to me.

To man: fuck off and get a life
To boy: friendship is more than money. I hope you know that I treasure these words.

good or bad?

I cannot sing a happy birthday song for Ruiping because her birthday is yet to come. Shall resist the temptation. TAHAN.

Finally I caught Half Blood Prince today. My expectations were dead low due to the horrifying experience of Order of Phoenix. I am very happy to say that I was entertained. Darkness aside, I think humour is injected appropriately.
What David Yates did was commendable because I think he understood the fact that some audience will watch the show without reading the book, so he focused the movie more on the romance between Harry and Ginny, and Ron and Hermione. For readers, the movie will be quite a disappointment, especially for avid readers, since facts were twisted. =.=

Spoiler:
How come it was Luna who found Harry in the carriage after Malfoy kicked him in the face? I thought it was Tonks???

I think it's worth my money to watch it again. Just because Daniel Radcliffe is too hot for words. Emma Watson has developed quite a bit. =) And for some weird reason, Rupert Grint was rather pleasant in this movie. Must be the love potion.

I pity those people who didn't read the book. Though there were parts that you could laugh at without reading, there were others that needed prior knowledge. And the heavily-accented British english is no joke for Singaporeans with very fluent Singlish.

Distraction: Wu Zhong Xian is unbelievably funny. =)

I am in huge trouble. I saw a lot of footwear that I fancy. Shit. Tuesday I must work hard and earn my money. Then WEDNESDAY SHOPPING! Like finally. windowshopping sucks to the max. Image Turn has nice sandals. Studded!! =)

Ya, I lost 6 kg. =) More to come!

busy days predicted

All photos are finally uploaded. It was rather tedious. Facebook simply loves me too much.

OG Outing at Timbre@The Substation

A whole lot more photos on Facebook. I just chose random ones to be here. =)
This is Ivan, he is my FindingNemo 2009 buddy! He is also the one whom I pangseh-ed halfway through FindingNemo. Paiseh hor!!
He is also in the running for the skankiest guy in our OG. His competitor is Hendric. LOL.

Good beer and good company = priceless good time!

I love the beer. I cannot stop saying it. I am certainly going back for more beer. Stufu, I go back with you ok? =)

Eye checkup at West Coast. FREE!

I was rather flabbergasted with all the equipments. This eye checkup took 3 hours, very very tiring. But at least I had a good time camwhoring.

MR YEO YEO!

Shopping with sexylegs siashangying=)

This was the photo that got her so excited. She said her legs look damn long, and I must agree. Once again, who took the photo? HAHA.
And she's only 158cm lor. =)
Guys, if you see her as a potential wife, FLOCK HER LAR!

These days I have been wearing the Wee Kim Wee shirt a lot! regretted buying only 2 colours. I should have done what huiying has done: to buy all 4!

-moment of silence-

I really feel proud to be in this school. Cannot wait for school to start!

My neutral palette arrived! I'm in love with this palette. All colours are pigmented after just one swipe. Amazing stuff. I have a feeling the other palette I bought from Ebay was a fake one lar. This one more pigmented lor. By the way, it was from myclassycloset.blogspot.com.

Even the blushes work great!

Some swapping here. I chose the colours randomly. One swipe only! Crazy right?

Many exciting things happened and many more to anticipate. Amidst all the fun, there are things to be done promptly. I logged on to the NTU portal and realised I have a lot of things to complete. Heng I checked, if not I will miss all my datelines.

Things to do:
  • Go NTU tomorrow with siashangying to hand up interbank giro form.
  • Before going to NTU, call Office of Finance first, see need to bring anything else or not.
  • Buy printer ink. Just when I want to print out all the forms, the ink died. I always have fantastic timing.
  • Fill up Tuition Fee Loan form.
  • Print out Tuition Grant form.
  • Call up NTU to ask about application of Tuition Grant for Singapore PR.
  • Print out Hall FOC Indemnity Form.
One more thing, Leonard's not feeling that well these few weeks. Let's hope nothing bad happens to him! Leonard TAKE CARE!!! DON'T STAY UP LATE TO PLAY CABAL LAR! SLEEP!

In a dizzy spell.

I have started on a new chapter of life. The beer at Timbre is sibuay nice. I am super addicted. Definitely going back for more.

Let's recap the day for my own sake lar. Must remember today unless I KO now and forget everything.

For my dearest Yeo JunYi, I woke up at fucking 6.30am. I am his guinea pig for his student optometrist assignment lar. Wasted 3 hours of my time there. And I must emphasize that I hate the feeling of contact lenses in my eyes. FUCKING HATE IT. I'd rather wear some ahma glasses than wear contact lenses. =.=
All the meals are on him though. HAHA.

After that went for OG outing at Timbre@ The Substation! =)
Love these guys to bits lar.
I think I drank a tad too much, but the beer is damn addictive, or did I already say that at the beginning of this post? Argh, lazy to scroll up.

GUYS, PHOTOS ARE BEING UPLOADED AS OF NOW! I'm crossing my fingers ALOT.

Super headache now, but I must say this last part:
I met Joshua on the bus just now. Mr Joshua who used to be damn horny and dirty. Typical of a CCKSS NCC member.
So he was enlightening me with his "banging experiences", and I was very surprised. People change alot, don't they? Innocent little kids grow up to be some player lar.
But hey, I'm not judging him. He is what he is, so shall not be biased. =)
The fact that I am 3 years his senior slowly faded into the background because I think he has more in his life than mine. Salute. HAHA.
And he thought Kengyang was still wooing me till now. =.= Damn backwards lor he. =.=

OK, shopping time with siashangying tomorrow. I shall try my hardest to resist the temptation of tagging every single person in 170+ photos.

Oh well, might as well...

spam

After harry potter 1-7,
off to SAW 1-5.

I have great days, I know.

Very long due post for some

I am having paparoti syndrome.
Because of this OG, I have officially morphed into a facebook monster; refreshing the page every single hour.
But hey, I love this OG! =)
Anyway, this is the product of my experimental haircut at the 10 bucks (QB or sth) shop at Bukit Panjang Plaza. Lenny refused to appreciate the awesome skill of the lady. I think it's nice lor. =.=
And I just dyed my hair again. Still wet now though. When I have nothing to do, I dye my hair.

Went back to Yannie Beauty Centre today. Guess what? I bumped into alot of NTU students. They were all there for facials. Fate works in a weird manner, seriously.
My eyelash curlers are sadly going to be ignored for the next 3 months or so.

And many people asked me about the jewellery that I bought last last week. I get random emails asking me whether I will be posting anything on hauls. Rather sweet of my readers. =)
My Forever 21 stuffies are free cause I have a voucher.
Then the Diva stuffies are 3 bucks each, some huge sale in Vivo City, the 4 items would have cost me $63 originally. amazing.

Tomorrow's the day. I have so many things going on at the same time. Heng the OG outing is at night. xie tian xie di.

I am meeting Yeo Jun Yi at 8.15am. WTF. That will happen to you too if your good friend is studying optometry. I have to be his client. =.= Nevermind, lunch on him then.

SIDETRACK,
Adam Lambert's boyfriend IS FUCKING HOT! Why do gays always look so hot?

rather intrigued

Hair cut is finally ticked off the list.
Next on the line, change hair colour. I have 3 more boxes of 3 different colours to go. ooh yeah.

Going for lashes consultation later. Chinatown is damn far. =.=
Ah, fuck it. Am going back to sleep.

mindboggling issues

I am like throwing posts on your faces every single hour of the day. I just like to write, so don't blame it on me, blame it on the alcohol (quote jamie foxx).

I think I need a hair trim.
You know when you intend to have short hair and then you get real lazy about trimming it once a month, it will grow into a lion's mane, more so for me who used to have an afro-like kinda hair. It's rather infuriating cause when it's wet, it looks fab, but when it's dry, it looks crap. =.= The ends just curl outwards, WTF! I need my hair to curl inwards lar! chicken mcnugget.
And so, I am going for a hair trim today. Shall call lenny to see if he's free. or lohla or shang or mao or lily. GAH.

For Nigel and Lohla who reads my blog, get to know Hendric, he's your ODAC senior ok!
By the way, I have to ask a very important question: was December in ODAC too? I heard he was from AJC. wtf.

Some humour for you guys.

bimbos are fun!

more bimbos. i love bimbos cause they are dumb.

Next on the line: Dinner and Dance!! Go Shuqi and Adam!! =)

WHAT THE HELL!!!

Ok this is freaky.

My sister's friend's sister is Lei Jia Hui and she goes to the same school as me. Then my sister today exclaimed to me, "CECE, HOW COME JIAHUI SIGN ON YOUR PAPER!"
Apparently, Lei jia hui is a senior that's helping out in my OG. WHAT THE FUCK!! So qiao!

Another one:
Valerie Chang is my good friend from my OG. Guess what? She is super good friends with JOSH! Josh from 25/07 1st 3 months!

WHAT THE FUCK!

The world is indeed small.

cannot blog about Hwa Chong and Finding Nemo.

I'm having post-camp syndromes.
No matter how much hatred I have towards dirty laundry and heavy bags, I still love the camp.
5 days just flew. What the fuck.

I got to know so many friends and so many seniors. Now i'm looking forward to school time.

Pavarotti was awesome. Distinct cliques were formed within the group, this I cannot deny, but whenever the time calls for it, we still merged together as one and thus this makes me feel proud to be in Pavarotti. Or paparoti.

Very thankful to OGLs and AGLs, without them no bonds would be formed so easily. Catalytic effect!!

I don't want to blog about every bit of the camp as we have promised to keep the tradition a secret. Aiyah, but if you ask me Lily, I will tell you lar. =)

Should I go play mahjong or not? Still very shag, but mahjong perks me up. Maybe just a wee bit of Viwawa.

To my dear Paverts(as Mark calls it),
I look very shag during the camp because I didn't wear any makeup. I need makeup to live! So I promise not to look shag during outings!! Hooray! (this is my bimbotic moment)

excellent choice!

The camp was fucking fantastic!
Fucking awesome!
Fucking horny!
=)

I got eye candy! HOORAY!! =)

More tomorrow. Crazy FrightNight made me sleep at 6am =.=
Halo eye candy! I shall nickname him Handsome Warner!!=)

I love Wee Kim Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

A Song For Viola WKWSCI FOC 2009

I will be on a hiatus from 6th to 10th July 2009 for WKWSCI Freshmen Orientation Camp!! =)

Kinda excited about it because the facebook group has enabled me to know loads and loads of new friends, especially those in Pavarotti! Quite bumped that Yan Lan, Charmaine, Jo, Danielle and Fiona were in different groups as me, but hey! it will be fun! =)

And I will be bringing my handphone but I won't check it constantly, and I figure by the 3rd or 4th day, my battery will give way.

I still have yet finish packing my stuff. I am going to pack tonight! Last minute works for me!

Looking forward to FOC! Anyway, I got to know another Pavarotti group member; hi Jasmine! and she's from PJC. haha. 2 more guys from AJC. Hope some of them have cars, so can 'tumpang'.
By the way,

LILY AND LENNY! There's a rumour in my facebook group that we are going to break camp only at 11pm on 10th July. LOL.

Firefox is my new L.O.V.E

I finally said adios to my love-hate relationship with Internet Explorer. It was really getting in my way and on my nerves. 2 minutes after my breakup with IE, I found a new love. Mozilla Firefox is FUCKING AWESOME!

Firefox is obedient, efficient and will correct my mistakes at the correct timings. Amazing boyfriend right? For those still salivating over IE, dump it now!

Anyway, I finally managed to get the photos up after I changed to Firefox. And yes, it is a long long long long post. I am not necessarily always excited about long posts, but this post is the one that I am urging to write the most. I have alot of products to try, and I had alot of fun trying all of them.

Me being really spastic. Didn't know what was up. maybe someone shoved something somewhere and I had to give this kind of pained look, while still trying to do a peace hommie sign. Didn't work. No.

Went for my eyelash perming at Yannie Ang Beauty Centre at Chinatown. Was rather skeptical at first, but after 5 days of wearing make-up, then removing them, I am certain that I didn't waste my money. My lashes still look like the image above after 5 days. Wowie.

Now let's move on to new stuffies!! =)
The visit to Chinatown was rather fruitful; discovering new fabulous small shops.
Reviews for some of the stuff down there, just keep scrolling, just keep scrolling, just keep scrolling.... I love Dory, don't you?

These were the stuff from that tiny shop in Chinatown. Ivy something lar. Don't really remember. But the stuff are all awesomeness!!

I got my GLOW magazine from Watson. That Men thingy is probably going to Lohla. Something needs to be done about those impurities.
But don't you just love the makeup pouch?
They have this Rimmel and GLOW workshops that have awesome goodie bags, and I am still contemplating on whether I should go or not. But I guess many have snatched those limited seats. Hmmm. shall wait for the next issue.

My dear Lily was very nice!!
She finally remembered to bring out the masks! I didn't expect so many, and now I have masks to use again!!HOORAY!! Thank you Lily!! =)

My haul from Ebay:
This sheer top has the nicest paisley print ever. But something's screwed up with the sleeves..makes my arms look more gigantic that they already are. But hey, I shall snip snip snip, and it will be fine. This was 5 bucks.

Another one from Ebay. I desperately need alot of black tubetops because I bought alot of kimono tops and I do not want to have them girls hanging out and about (if you don't get it, it's the boobies, learn some gangsta lingo!! haha). 5 bucks once again.

Another one=) this was 10 bucks cause it was brand new. I just love the pink flowers.

REVIEWS TIME!!!:

Everyday Minerals blushers

I hate these things as a blusher. =.= They are extremely patchy and even by applying by a brush and after blending like CRAZY, they are still in patches. Maybe it's my oily skin, but I don't like the fact that I have to spend so much time on my blusher. Bad blushers.
BUT, I played around and realised that they are excellent eyeshadows! With an eyeshadow base, their colours really pop out, and yes, I am never going to use them as blushers ever again, but as eyeshadows!

Heated Eyelash Curler

I plucked up the courage to get a heated eyelash curler. I am rather afraid of this as I don't want to get mt lids BURNT. These were going for 2 for 8 bucks, so hey! why not try it out?
I was rather surprised that it didn't burn me at all. It's just a tiny feeling of heat on the lashes and you will get used to that feeling.
Don't really know about the curling factor as my lashes are very curled now. Will do this curler more justice when moi lashes are not as curled.

WATSONS STRETCHABLE MASK

PROS:
  • Thought it will be gimmicky, but it works!! It really covers your face tightly.
  • Wee bit of tingling sensation. I like to feel that the product is working.
  • Don't know what else to say, am going to buy more!
CONS:
  • I don't really like the fact that when you pull the masks behind your ears, the stray hairs there are stained by the mask.

LANEIGE STRAWBERRY YOGURT PEELING GEL

PROS:
  • This really smells like strawberry yogurt. YUM.
  • This acts as an exfoliator and I am loving this exfoliator. Usually exfoliators are known to leave your skin all rough and dry, but this one leaves it moisturised. weird but AWESOME.
  • It actually removes a wee bit of blackheads. WOOHOO.
CONS:
  • It's a messy product to work with.
  • I have only one. I NEED MOREEE!

BIOTHERM PORE REDUCER CLEANSING GEL

PROS:
  • This cleansing gel is very very mild. Good for sensitive skin.
  • Very foamy. I love foamy cleansing gels! =)
  • Really does reduce your pores. Well not alot, but at least you see a bit of difference when you apply your foundation.
CONS:
  • The smell. Hmmm. Weird.

BIO-ESSENCE 'TINGLING' MASKS

OMG, I have alot of things to say about this product.

PROS:
  • It tingles like CRAZY. At least you know it's working.
  • It's supposed to firm your skin, and yes I do feel a certain pull.
  • The most amazing thing is, it removes those darn blackheads near your nosehole. I have been trying to get rid of them using cur-up nose strips, and all failed. But this is the only product that has worked. I was like staring intensely at the mask when I pulled it off, because I was amazed that entire blackheads were pulled out. EUREKA!!
CONS:
  • As mentioned above, it tingles like CRAZY. My eyes were tearing when I apply this on my face. Very uncomfortable to work with.
  • Whitening effects are close to none. gua gua gua.
  • Pulling it out was another nightmare. This is a peel-off mask. The feeling is like pullng out a blackhead removing nose-strip, but now it's on your whole face. Ouch.
  • I thought I could scrimp and squeeze 2 usages from each container. but no, you have to apply EVERYTHING for it to work. Oh well, it was on sale. =.=

TEA TREE CLEANSING WIPES

PROS:
  • It has my favourite tea tree scent. Everyone else hates this scent, but I love it!
  • I use this after I remove my makeup and before I start my washing my face, and it was able to remove those darn facial products that the makeup remover can't. So bravo!
  • I thought it would be really sting-y, but no it was rather mild. There is a SENSITIVE version to this, packaged in white. But I think it's good enough for mildly sensitive skin.
  • Well packaged.
  • And for some weird reason, I love the 2 leaves. LOL.
CONS:
  • None at the moment. 5 stars!! =)

And that is all of reviews. Phew. Long long post and really tired fingers and mind. I have to zzz soon.
By the way, I am possibly working as a ice cream stall helper in City Hall when school starts! yay to that! =) The boss said that I was entitled to free scoops of ice creams!! Hooray!

Another long day tomorrow! Let's lay things out:
  • Make fried rice in the morning to bring to lenny house as lunch. (No $$, sad)
  • Go to lenny's house for lunch
  • Accompany Lenny to NUH for his checkup
  • Vivo outing with Lenny and Lily
  • Meet nigel at Outram Part MRT
  • Go Nigel's house for Mahjong. LOL.
Oh crap.

sorry

I am not able to update my blog today.
I am in pain.
Migraine attack, but this time it's weird. It's not the head that's throbbing, it's the nerves. Weird. I move a wee bit and it hurts. I am going to rest from now on.

Sorry people, will try to do an update tomorrow.
Kill those vibes. F.

Update on 9.07pm

After a run around the estate, I feel much better. The fresh air is good for the mind and soul.
But that brings us to another problem: Blogger is hating me. I cannot upload images at all. This is utter crap. What's wrong with it? Can anybody help me? I already managed to upload the images on the blogger imaging tool. But after I press the 'Done' button, the images just won't show up on the main site. Oh crap.

Let's hope that it's just Blogger being pms-y.
Boo.
