been a long time

I haven't been upset about anything so seriously for a long time. Sure I have been miffed about little things but those feelings were just come-and-go type. This has been bugging me for a while and I don't really see any other avenue to rant on.

What really pissed me off:

When you have been helping a friend a lot (or so I think) and then when there's no problem for this person, he/she just ignores you. Ignore is a harsh word, but I see no other word that can describe my feelings more appropriately.

So I'm only here when trouble knocks on your door?

I help people willingly, unless I really hate you. I have been used by my friends a lot in my life. Projects, assignments and other stuff. People throw things to me and I gullibly just complete everything for them. My only comfort is that I thought I was capable enough to help others.

And I have been this foolish for years.

Perhaps I am seeing things differently because I am angered right now. But the behaviour that I received lead me to seeing things differently.

You are busy, so you ignore.

I am busy and I do not ignore because I see you as a friend.

What to do? I am born this way. I cannot help that people like to use me and then throw me aside like a used tissue paper. So long as I'm alive, these random rants will always appear in my blog.

Fuck it.

The Blood Snooze

So Song and I went to watch The Blood Pledge today. He said he asked me because Quek is still in Shanghai. Can see that he really wanted to to watch horror movies with Quek cause Quek will be damn scared and he can MAN UP! HAHA.

Anyway, The Blood Pledge was a huge snoozefest and majority of the reason why this film sucked is because of MDA. Those buggers.

There are many parts that were cut in order to adhere to the PG ratings. MDA is a bit cuckoo in the head because making it PG doesnt mean people will watch it. How about you make it M18 and entertain those people that really want to be scared.

So many gory parts that I was anticipating and all were cut. Damn it.

I won't go into the details of the story though because I think it's quite simple and honestly rather predictable. However, I have some remarks though:

  1. I realise that in South Korea, many people commit suicide to solve their problems eh? Celebrity culture in South Korea also like that. Horror movies also like that.
  2. There is one scene that showed how the mother of the bastard guy who made the main character pregnant had her head burst. The blood looked like tomato juice. I was rather tickled by how unrealistic this scene was.
  3. People bleed too easily in horror movies.
  4. When they bleed, the blood looks almost translucent. Once again, not realistic.
  5. School girls in South Korea girls' school a bit scary ar?
  6. All the girls look the same. At the beginning of the movie, I couldn't differentiate one character from another.
  7. There's another scene whereby a girl was hanged to death using a microphone wire. Question: the wire is that strong ah?
  8. I must admit that the ending was quite nice.
So in all I give this movie 1.5/5 stars. And that's because the acting was good. Directing was horrible; director should be stoned. Cameraman should be stoned also. Whoever thought that wavering the camera while closing up on a toilet shot can bring in fear should be stoned. Stupid camera angles.

Seriously, after taking 206, this movie feels like filth.

HOWEVER! The main character was rather refreshing because.... she looks like someone from SNSD! seohyun to be exact!

THIS IS THE MAIN CHARACTER. Think her name is SON EUN-SEO

THIS IS SEOHYUN. Similar lor.

Throughout the entire show I thought "wa snsd girl in a ghost show?" Goes to show all Koreans look the same in one way or another. Actresses and singers shouldn't frequent the same plastic surgeons. Different parts of the face must go different plastic surgeons. IF NOT ALL LOOK THE SAME! AIYOH!

=D

Busy week ahead. what's new.

Coding later at 10am.
Then off to Cineleisure to watch The Blood Pledge because song has free preview tickets, and quek doesn't watch horror shows.

Wednesday - still no idea what's the plan. But if there's no coding to do, I will be meeting up with wang and audrey lim to discuss our next photoshoot theme, ideas, clothes and locations.

Thursday - Paparazzi video shooting. Well, Jason approached me to act in the video. No dialogue and just act sad. So should be fine.

Friday - Collect namecards with wang at Bras Basah. Then off to UOB Building (Or is it OUB Building? Aiyah one of the tallest buildings in Singapore lar) to go to one of the restaurant for a food launch party. Very scared for this because it's formal and everything. Means I have to act PR-ish. Well, I will just leech onto wang!

Saturday - FOC last car wash.

Sunday - what's on Sunday? I can't remember. GAH.

Other than all these, I still need to confirm food for FOC, and then source out for makeup and cloth for erm *special events*.

Oh by the way, wang's uploading fLIPR's second issue now! Audrey Lim is officially on board as Head Stylist, I think JingLiang also. =D

I love this issue, I think all of you will too!

Will do a link later! =D

genting photos overload

2nd time in Genting in one month's time. We don't love Genting for her theme park, we just love the weather, the food and elianto. HAHA.

Purchases from Genting: (rather minimal I must say, I spend more on food than hauls)

Elianto:
Eye cream - 2 for RM20, the other one was for MyChan. HAHA.
Nail polishes - 1 for RM2.50, there were four colours on sale, the last one being black.
Makeup wipes - RM12, Buy 1 get 2nd at 40% off.

Garnier mattifying powder - RM12.90
Silky White (from SilkyGirl) mattifying powder - RM7.90

I also bought a lot of magazines. Malaysia's CLEO (I left it in the hotel because it was damn trashy and I love Singapore's CLEO more), Vivi (still with MYCHAN), Ray, WITH and of course
女人我最大 because the cover boy is my ultimate favourate hottie 阮经天! =D Drooling. I don't even dare to read it the way I usually read other magazines. I'm flipping the pages slowly ONE by ONE. =D

Highlights of Genting trip (starting from last day to first day because I'm dumb and I arranged the photos in the opposite manner. HAHA)

Last day:
MYCHAN bought this weird toy for RM5 and so she just keeps playing with it. Look at eve just resigning to her fate.

While waiting for the bus ride back to Singapore, I was fiddling with G11's functions and I found the colour accent function. I just need to point the camera at any colour and the camera will filter OTHER colours for me, leaving the photo in shades of black and white, and that particular colour that I chose. AWESOME.

Eve you look very pretty here okay.

My favourite pose.

Camwhoring FTW.

Once again, MYCHAN is addicted to the toy. Her expression ultimate W1N and melon choong looks nonchalant. HAHA.

Star Trek worthy photo.

We fell in love with this particular bakery somewhere near the cyber cafe. IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME. RM17.50 for a HUGEASS sandwich with 2 fillings. I had smoked salmon and roast beef and ohmygosh, i wanna die on the spot because it was so hearty and so so so gorgeous.

The staff was very very generous. I think I had like 20 smoked salmon slices in my kraft bread, which by the way was a rather grainy bread with raisins. The bread was sweet, and together with the smoked salmon, the combination is almost lethal. YUMMY!

The other 3 called for Parmesan bread, which was also ULTIMATE SINFULNESS. I regretted not dabao-ing le. =(

My attempt in melancholic shots.

My attempt in being silly.

Definitely must thank CHANpapa and CHANmama for treating us all to a rather wholesome dinner at the mushroom restaurant down the hill. It was very awesome. I heart the kangkong while Eve raves and raves about the fried fish. =D

Starbucks was our chill-out place because of the strong wireless connection. HAHA. I think I went to Starbucks FIVE times in 3 days. crazy.

In Singapore, usually I will think twice before purchasing a drink from Starbucks/Coffee Bean/other extorting coffee chains, but in Malaysia, I just buy without blinking. WHY AH!

Authentic pose created by MYCHAN. Scroll down to last photo and you will know why it was the highlight of the entire trip.

Eve's rendition. W1N again.

Baskin Robbins was having a Pink Wednesday Day and you can show them ANYTHING pink and they will let you have 2 hugeass scoops for RM7.90. VERY WORTH IT. I showed them my pink striped laptop bad the 2nd time we patronise the stall. HAHA.

Favourite MerryBrown. Eve said this meal was quite good okayyy.

Eve's meal

My meal. Rendang Chicken FORTHEWIN LAR! I think I'm more in love with MerryBrown after this meal. =D

another attempt in being melancholic

Alan Barbarella Choong.

Eve does an almost perfect impersonation though.

The place where we had our STARS panic attack.

Very fast connection and all fours of us got our modules. HOORAY FOR THIS CYBER CAFE!

The Priority-BLUE function of G11 is damn awesome for taking sky shots. LOOK AT THIS! ZOMG.

This photo is very freaky, because I have no idea whose hand that belongs to. HAHA. *deng deng deng dengggg*

Melon and MYCHAN. My models for the Genting trip. =D

Love this shot alot, especially with melon's camera on the bed. Adds a little flavour of exhibitionism. HAHAHA.

More more priority-blue shots.

SIAO EVE. She is officially the newborn baby that just came out of MYCHAN's womb. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Duck melon.
I'm still laughing like shit whenever I see this photo.

Skank melon.

Eve brought her OPI matte green nailpolish (once again I forget the long name), and it matches my jacket. HAHA.

We reached Genting at 5am in the morning. Such crazy hours and we were all dying for some hot soup.

Old Town White Coffee is awesome. =D

I heart the soup, but the ham is rubbish.

Finally.

People, you must all see this photo.

The story goes like this:

I went to MYCHANs house so that the we can all cab down to Lavender to take the bus. I was there early and so I was roaming around her room, and I was tickled when I saw this poster that Tiffany (her roomie) made for her. I laughed like MAD WOMAN and I decided to take a picture to keep me laughing every now and then. HAHAHAHAHAHAH. I am still laughing.

Chan Huiling EPIC W1N! =D
