Review: innisfree Creamy Tint Lip Mousse in 03 Fresh Coral

Innisfree is one S.Korean brands that I truly trust because their products are always formulated from the goods of nature. Natural products that work for even the most sensitive skin (of course, please choose a range of Innisfree products that are specially formulated for your skin type. If you're clueless, just go in to any physical Innisfree stores and the salespeople would be more than glad to explain everything to you. I'm actually quite impressed by Innisfree as an entire brand because even the salespeople in the Singapore physical stores are friendly and informative. That's saying something you know?).

I love, love, LOVE their Volcanic and Jejubija series. Especially great for those with oily, problematic skin and pore issues.

This time, I decided to get some beauty products. A curious mind needed to be satisfied I saw Lisa Eldridge's video on her S.Korean beauty haul and I was SO intrigued.

Hence, I browsed Qoo10 and was quite pleasantly surprised with the many products that were available for purchase. Trust me when I say I went a little overboard. I spent over S$100 on products that I want to try.

Anyway, I got the innisfree Creamy Tint Lip Mousse in 03 Fresh Coral for S$13.40 (free shipping).

I'm on the fence with this lip mousse... Gorgeous colour and texture but incredibly painful wear after 4-5 hours. How like that?

DISCLAIMER: All photos from this review post onwards are taken using the iPhone 6 because my camera has died (Goodbye my awesome Canon G10 :( I have used it for a good 5-6 years haiyah). Quality may not be as good as previous review posts, but bear with it yeah? I'm planning to get a new camera soon yay!

The things that I love about the innisfree Creamy Tint Lip Mousse is how pigmented the lip mousse is and how wonderfully velvety the texture is.

However, it's not long-lasting at all and after 4 hours of wear, my lips started to peel. Obviously I'm not a lip person, hence I don't take good care of my lips at all. Some people exfoliate their lips daily and then apply a copious amount of lip balm before bed. But, I don't do any of that because I'm way too lazy. I think this laziness contributed largely to why the innisfree Creamy Tint Lip Mousse didn't work as well on my lips in terms of longevity and hydration.

Packaging: Fuss-free and makes me feel like I'm an environmental warrior. They use recycled materials for their product packaging and use soy-ink for printing. Talk about dedication! This is why I love innisfree as a brand. They don't talk talk, say say only. Action speaks louder than words!

I'm not sponsored by innisfree hor (although I'd love to! HOOK ME UP LEH SOMEONE), I just love their brand ideals and their products in general.

Colour and pigmentation: innisfree Creamy Tint Lip Mousse in 03 Fresh Coral is a gorgeous mixture of rose-red and orange. Some corals are very unforgiving because of how much orange pigment is added, but this coral shade is more suitable for everyday wear. Especially for those days when you just want to look more awake and refreshed. Pigmentation is also extremely impressive. The above photo was taken after just one application.

Texture and application: I love applying the innisfree Creamy Tint Lip Mousse. The texture is very peculiar. Never have I applied anything that had a similar texture before. It applies like a thick BB cream, then as you spread the product out, it feels like velvet/silk?! The "mousse" part not play one. Really like chocolate mousse. Super smooth, super velvety, super downy (like feathers).

You can apply this lip mousse in two different ways - the gradation way that S.Koreans love so much, or the usual all-over way that is foolproof for anyone.

Longevity: As mentioned in bits and pieces above, I had quite a problem with the longevity of this lip product. My lips must be in really bad condition because after 4 hours my lips just started to crack so bad! I could peel dead skin off my lips leh! Why like this?! The moisturising properties obviously didn't work that well on me, which is quite disappointing lor. :(

Will I buy it again? I'm seriously on the fence. I saw Orchid Pink and I wanted to get it. But then again, will my lips crack every single time I apply this? Maybe I'm going to pay more attention to my lip regimen now that I'm more interested in lip products. But as of now, I'm not going to get more shades of this. Settle my own lip problems first!

Hope this is useful! Have a great weekend yeah! :)

Going crazy for Korean cosmetics

This photo is a lie.

I have 3 more products coming from Korea, so the entire haulage is way bigger. Oops.

I just find some Korean cosmetics way more advanced than some Western brands. Traditional is almost always good, but good innovation can make traditional more convenient and more captivating. For one, the BB Cushion is an excellent revolution - even Lancôme is coming out with their own BB Cushion (which under-performed when compared to those from Korean brands, according to some online reviews)!

Fortunately Qoo10 has plenty of listings for Korean cosmetic products from sellers based in South Korea. That means prices are somewhat similar to those in South Korea (additional a few bucks for shipping lah). This is very excellent because as most Singapore dwellers will know, prices are marked up considerably in the local stores. I got the Innisfree Long Wear Cushion for less than S$20 on Qoo10 and it's retailing for more than S$30 at local Innisfree stores! Very excellent indeed, this Qoo10.

This also means I need to rethink and reorganise my makeup cupboard. Time to throw away things to make space for new things! Just in time for CNY cleaning!

Blacks, brushes and bibimbap (#GOSF)

A great weekend has ended. I spent Saturday glued to my bed and Sunday out shopping with Mr Chung. I'm actually looking forward to work! Work hard for the next weekend!

Funny story first...

On Friday, Mr Chung and I walked all the way from Clementi MRT station to my house at Upper Bukit Timah Road. It took us around one hour and it was a great workout after a heavy dinner. Halfway through our walk, he was on the phone and I was just looking around, not caring about what was on the ground. So of course, I tripped on some raised platform. Just nice, I was holding my phone, so my first instinct was "Save the phone!!" and I did. My phone was as good as new, but I fell flat. FLAT. Like a failed superman pose on the ground. I injured my knee and palm, but that's about it. Once I got out of the shock, I kept laughing for 5 minutes straight because of how silly the situation was - I actually sacrificed myself for my newly bought phone. Humans and their gadgets. Or maybe, me and my gadgets. :P

Anyway, here are some updates on the fashion front!

Online shopping is my favourite past-time and it's no surprise that most of my clothes were purchased online.

Dress: Zalora
Shoes: Bought in Hong Kong
Watch: Casio

Taobao, Qoo10, Zalora, etc. I always check these sites regularly to get updated on their new stuff and sale sections.

Inner top: Lazada
Vest: Zara
Skorts: Qoo10
Shoes: Bought in Hong Kong
Watch: Casio

Also, I visit Singsale once in a while to look through the deals and discounts. Sometimes nothing attracts me, but sometimes Singsale surprises me with amazing discounts. I bought a 24-piece brush set from Bella Brushes (based in Australia) for only S$29, and because it was Black Friday, shipping was S$1 flat every product purchased. Amazing deal right?! The brushes were amazingly soft and shed-free too.

It's incredibly exciting what's coming up in the online shopping arena. I've been seeing the advertisements on Youtube and even at bus stops - The Great Online Shopping Festival! It's an annual event in which participating online stores offer amazing discounts! It's happening from 2-4 February 2015 and it cannot be more timely for me because it's right after my pay day, hoorah! 14 more days to GOSF

Ending this post with a photo of my favourite food - the delicious Bibimbap. This is one of the two reasons why I want to go to South Korea, the other reason being facial masks.

Have a great week ahead guys. Save some money for GOSF!

BLOGMAS Day 6: Review - Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence R and Spot Essence W

For new readers, a quick background of my skin type and condition - I have oily, acne-prone skin and it gets worse when I'm under stress. My acne usually sprouts (lol) at the jawline and upper-lip areas - a condition diagnosed as Google doctor as "hormonal acne". I also believe I'm in that awkward hormones-bo-balance stage (or in proper English, hormonal imbalance) so my body is rebelling and as a result my skin is not cooperating as well. Before I hit my 20s, I barely had pimples. :( I miss those days so much.

This is why I'm always on the search for anti-acne skin products, and recently I trust South Korean brands more because they are less harsh and works as effectively as the usual spot treatment creams with benzoyl peroxide/salicylic acid. I loved the Etude House AC Clinic line and I was eager to try out other popular South Korean brands that offer an anti-acne skincare line.

I was on Qoo10 one day (like which day am I not on Qoo10 right? HAHA) and a store selling Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble products had a time sale so I jumped at the chance! I bought both the Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence R and Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence W for less than S$30 - a steal considering how each can go up to S$30+ in the local brick and mortar stores.

Packaging: I really love the choice of colour for the outer packaging. This minty green colour is the perfect colour for an anti-trouble line! Words are in white instead of black, which gives it a more soothing and professional. I know, I'm looking way too much into their packaging, but this is how customers like me are intrigued to try anti-trouble products. The cleaner, less busy, more soothing and more professional the outer packaging, the more I feel like I can trust this product.

A full-sized Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence R has 15ml of product, while a full-sized Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence W has 30ml of product. This makes a lot of sense since both products are supposed to be used differently -

  • The Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence R is for more serious breakouts - especially those that are extremely irritated or painful.
  • The Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence W is to soothe and treat bumpy skin (i.e. minor spots that don't hurt).
A little bit of the Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence R is good enough for a really enraged pimple, hence the 15ml of product is more than sufficient. On the other hand, the Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence W can be applied on more areas, hence you will use this up faster than the R product - 30ml is reasonable.

Starting with the Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence R:

For this product, you are instructed to use a cotton swab to apply the product on desired areas - you definitely don't want to transfer more bacteria onto your erupting painful mess by using your fingers!

On the other hand, the Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence W can be applied as per normal - after cleansing, toning and moisturising.

Product texture/consistency:

  • the Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence R has a thick green consistency that dries off into powder after blending. The green colour also helps to hide the redness around the acne.
  • the Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence W feels more like a lightweight moisturiser that applies very well under makeup.
Therefore, I will suggest that you use Spot Essence R at night before bed since it will leave a greenish tinge on your skin, and you can use Spot Essence W in the mornings before makeup.

Top: Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence R
Bottom: Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence W
Do these work as claimed?

  • the Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence R is marvellous. It dries up the pimple within a day and after 3 days, you have your flat surface again. The best thing is once you apply this on an incredibly painful area, the pain gradually goes away and you don't feel the pain after half a day. I really hate it when pimples are painful - most of my pimples are around my mouth area, and it affects how I smile. Like smile already, then damn pain, so sad right??
  • the Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence W, on the other hand, is just an average product. It's targeted towards minor spots that don't hurt and so it's not as obvious whether it is effective or not. I have used this for a more than 2 months on such areas, and I don't really see a difference in my skin condition. The good thing is those areas remained as they are in the 2 months, no new spots, and none of the spots evolved to face demons.
Will I buy these again? I'll definitely purchase Innisfree Jejubija Anti-Trouble Spot Essence R again, but not the Spot Essence W

Any of my readers have more South Korean anti-acne/anti-trouble products to recommend? Do let me know if you have any good ones that you want me to try!

Have a good weekend! :)

Upcoming: Etude House Lock’n Summer Proof 10 Cushion Lock’n Liner

Very very excellent. I'm still fascinated with the Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion and now they have eyeliners in cushion version? Genius!

Of course, I had to immediately buy a couple on Qoo10. Anything for my blog right? Hehehehe. They were very affordable, S$7.50 each only!

I got the Etude House Lock’n Summer Proof 10 Cushion Lock’n Liner in Black and Brown. Very boring lor, I know. I wanted to get that amazing midnight blue but I won't get as much wear out of it, so yes, I stuck with my everyday colours.

Can't wait for them to arrive in the mail. Aiyoh more eyeliners to play. So exciting! :D

Review: Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion in Honey Beige W24

I'm such a laggard when it comes to trying out new cosmetic technology and innovation. I have heard of the various BB Cushions in the market but I have yet to try any...till now. At first, I thought this beauty invention was just a gimmick, but ah, I couldn't be more wrong.

Paydays are my favourite days. Not only because they make me feel happy about the financial department, but also because the sudden surge in moolah pushes me to buy new products to try out, like this Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion. I bought it for S$20.50 on Qoo10

I'm a BB Cushion convert, and here's why...

There are 3 shades available on the Qoo10 site:

  • N02 Light Beige
  • W13 Natural Beige
  • W24 Honey Beige
As with most of South Korean foundation-type products, you have limited choice when it comes to finding the shade to match your skin. I bought the darkest one out of the lot (W24 Honey Beige) and I think it's still too light for me.

Every single time I use the Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion, I will skip the sunscreen. It has SPF50+/PA++! I think that is a good number for a hot and humid weather like Singapore's.

Ingredients list

Packaging: A slightly hefty round compact that scores high marks in terms of product hygiene. There's a plastic separator between the puff and the cushion. The cushion is also sealed and you have to remove the safety seal before usage.

How to use: The application process is quite different, but it's not rocket science. You take the given puff and press the blue side on the cushion till you get the desired amount of product. Then you apply the puff on your face by either patting it on or spreading it all over the face. The application will have to depend on your skin condition and what you want out of the product. Relatively clear and smooth skin? Then spreading it all over is enough. If you have redness or acne to cover up, the pat the puff on the area - more coverage this way!

Usefulness of provided puff: It's marketed as the Collagen Air Puff and I understand why there's no "sponge" anywhere in the name. This puff doesn't absorb the product like a sponge! It picks up the cream and the cream will stay at the surface without getting absorbed. When you apply it on your face, you are applying what you dispensed out of the cushion. No wastage due to absorption! Also, the puff makes application a breeze. It also makes the cream look more even and smooth as compared to when you apply using your fingers.

Product consistency/texture: The Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion has a runnier consistency than the usual BB creams. I guess this slightly liquid consistency helps the puff pick up the cream better.

Application: As mentioned briefly above, application with the aid of the puff is a breeze. I don't know how they created the puff; it's amazing! Now I use it with my other liquid foundations too. First of all, the cream applies beautifully and evenly. The puff also ensures that the product is not just sitting on top of large pores and making them more obvious. With the puff, the Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion makes any large pores miraculously disappear. It's not an exaggeration - I have huge pores around my nose area and after using the puff with any of my liquid foundations, they are no longer as pronounced. I can't even see them anymore unless I go really close to the mirror.

Starting from the left:
1. Bare skin
2. One layer of Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion
3. Two layers of Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion
Coverage: The Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion has a medium coverage that's definitely buildable to a full coverage. As you can see from the photo above, one layer of Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion can cover most redness. Two layers can conceal the redness and acne better. Even after two layers, my skin doesn't look cakey or thick. It still looks like ... my skin... but better! For those with dry skin, you don't need the loose powder at all. This dries to a semi-matte finish. However, if you're like me and you have overworked sebaceous glands, then yes, loose powder is a must to finish things off.

Longevity: This lasted a good 3-4 hours before my skin looked like an oil spill occurred. I'm not complaining though because the product won't move when you blot. You don't get that irritating uneven patches on your face after the tissue/blotter picked up some product in the process. This will work VERY well for users with normal to combination skin. You will have dewy skin by the end of the day!

Will I buy it again? Wah I definitely will. It has high SPF and it has coverage that can rival liquid foundations. Moreover, the given puff is AMAZING. Of course will buy again lah. I hope Etude House provides more shades. So many people will love your product you know? Expand your target market!!

Hope this has been helpful! Have a great day guys! :)

Nano Japan Hyaluron & Collagen 2

I'm going to be 25 this year, and I can already see my skin and hair conditions deteriorating. I used to have super voluminous hair without the help of any hair products but now my hair is just flat and brittle. My skin has gone through drastic changes - from relatively smooth and healthy to being sensitive and scarred. Hence, I decided to take the plunge and consume collagen! I'm not sure how well the Nano Japan Hyaluron & Collagen 2 will help with my current skin and hair conditions, but I have read a legion of positive reviews (almost 6000 on Qoo10!).

Most of the happy users reported:
  • Smoother skin with less obvious and ligtening of acne scars
  • Better sleep
  • Stronger and silkier hair
  • Firmer bust (I don't really fancy this effect but I'm all for the other claims.)
  • Better digestive and bowel systems
Seems quite amazing eh?

I had my first serving last night (a 7gm scoop of the powder mixed with peach tea) and it tasted fine. I always thought collagen will taste fishy, but nope the Nano Japan Hyaluron & Collagen 2 was not fishy at all.

I ordered mine through Qoo10 and the service and delivery were impeccable. I ordered on 21st May night and the product was delivered to my doorstep on 22nd May afternoon! The product was extremely well-packaged too and the transaction was seamless and overall, really satisfying.

For the S$37.90 that I paid, I get 35 servings - so that works out to be less than S$1.10 a day! Less than my iced kopi-o gao siu dai from Maxwell Food Court!

I'm eagerly waiting for the improvements. It will be a slow wait but I hope this is worth the wait! :D

Have a great Friday ahead guys! Yay TGIF!

Update on 22nd June 2014:

To cut the story short, this breaks me out. Not horribly, but I get 1 or 2 pimples every 2 days and once I stopped taking this daily, the situation improved. However, this doesn't mean that the Nano Japan Hyaluron & Collagen 2 didn't do wonders on me. I have definitely noticed a difference in my skin condition. The areas where I used to have huge pores have improved and my hair condition is much better (i.e. I don't get as much hairfall now). Some acne scars have almost started to improve and look less obvious. I will still continue to consume this, but not daily. After 3 weeks of daily consumption, I have changed it to a twice-weekly routine and the breakout situation has been under control after the modification.

This contains milk extract and condensed milk powder and I think this is the main reason as to why I'm breaking out. My acne situation is highly aggravated by dairy intake and since I was consuming it daily, I guess my hormones were freaking out. But, once or twice weekly seems to be a good change for my skin so far!

If you have acne-prone skin, you still can consume this, but not as often as directed.

Quick Review: Clinique All About Eyes Rich and All About Eyes Serum

I was researching on a new eye cream to buy and there were so many raving reviews about the Clinique All About Eyes line. I wanted to try them out but their pricetags are quite ... exorbitant. Hence, I was on the hunt for sample size Clinique All About Eyes products because sample sizes are always cheaper, and I found a store on Qoo10 selling the sample sizes for cheap, and they also had a 1+1 promotion. SCORE!!

I bought both the Clinique All About Eyes Rich (7ml) and the Clinique All About Eyes Serum (5ml) for S$21.90 (additional Timed Sale discount) with free Singpost normal mail.

I have been using both products for 4 days and I LOVE THEM!! In the future when I have way too much disposable income, I will definitely purchase the full-sized items, but for now, I will just depend on these sample sizes.

I use the Clinique All About Eyes Rich at night before bed and the cream feels so thick and moisturizing. Over time and consistent applications, this product promises to diminish undereye circles and puffiness. It also helps to boost natural collagen production and strengthen the skin's moisture barrier against common irritants. Although the Clinique All About Eyes Rich is thicker than the normal formula, it still is absorbed easily.

For my morning skincare routine, I use the Clinique All About Eyes Serum. The metal rollerball instantly cools and depuffs the eye area. People always tell me to not drink water before bed because I will look like a goldfish the morning after, but I just don't listen. So yes, in the mornings, I look unwell because of the swollen eyes. This serum works perfectly in combating the puffiness! It also acts as a great makeup base for undereye concealer!

I'm loving both products now and I don't think I will be trying out new eye products any time soon because these two Clinique ones are PERFECT.

Ah~~ I really love Qoo10! It's like a platform that provides alternative choices for people who cannot or do not want to spend on expensive full-sized products. However, please do be careful with your purchases on Qoo10. Do read the reviews before purchasing any sample-sized items to make sure you're buying authentic products, or to make sure you're not buying products that are going to expire soon. There are some dubious shops in Qoo10 that have reviews revealing their true identity. So please read the reviews before purchasing!! Let other shoppers help your shopping experience!

Have a great weekend guys! :)

Quick Review: Kao Megurism Thermal Steam Eye Mask

I have been eyeing the Kao Megurism Thermal Steam Eye Mask for a few months. I first saw it on Qoo10 last year and I was so intrigued by this mask that's targeted for stress-relieving and promoting a better sleep. But, I didn't want to commit to buying the box of 14 yet because what if I hate the mask? Waste money le! So I waited....and now the product page has over 1000 reviews, and a huge majority of those reviews are positive. Ok! BUY LAH!

The Kao Megurism Thermal Steam Eye Mask retails on Qoo10 for S$19.80 for a box of 14 masks (excluding postage fees) and it comes in 6 variations: Unscented, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Rose, Ripe Yuzu (Citrus) and Chamomile. There's even one specially for men!

I bought the Lavender one since I wanted to have better sleep, and the mask certainly did make my sleep a much improved one.

I stare at the computer more than 12 hours a day, be it for work or at home, and sometimes I strain my eyes so much I can feel them hurting when I'm sleeping. It's not a pleasant feeling to try to sleep off, and since I cannot stop what I'm doing at work, I can only try to find ways to treat my eye area at home. The Kao Megurism Thermal Steam Eye Mask has done a fantastic job in relieving the pain around my eye area and making me sleep so much faster!

Once opened and applied on the eye area, the mask will slowly generate moderate heat (up to 40 degrees celsius - nothing too extreme) and this heat helps to warm and relieve the area. To my female readers, this is the same logic as applying a warm water bottle on top of your abdomen to relieve those painful period cramps. Works like magic every single time, and I have a feeling this mask will work as miraculously.

My fatigued and overworked eyes felt a gradual comfort as the heat sensation intensified. After a seemingly luxurious 10 minutes, I took off the mask and once my head hit the pillow again, I was instantly teleported to my dreamland. Crazy effective?! Usually it takes me a good 30 minutes before I can fall asleep!

Two thumbs up and I feel the need to spread the gospel! Highly, highly recommended!!

This mask will be excellent for plane rides too! Can't wait to bring this along for my next trip to Shanghai.

It's really easy to apply too. Just remove the mask from the plastic packaging and tear open the perforated area and that becomes your ear hooks, and you just attach the two holes over your ears and you're good to go! The mask is completely dry, so you don't need to worry about messing up your pillow or bedsheet.

The Kao Megurism Thermal Steam Eye Mask is certainly a good before-bed product to have if you're staring at the computer screen way too much at work. Go get yours if you need a better sleep! S$19.80 for 14 masks is quite reasonable! The seller ships out the item quite quickly too.

Have a great weekend guys! :)

Quick review: Etude House Color My Brows

As I get older, I pay more attention to my eyebrows. I have extremely thick and bushy eyebrows. A set that's almost impossible to manage without regular trimming and shaving. Another problem is that my eyebrows have really black hairs. Many beauticians said that my eyebrows were the best to work on because they were so thick and dark. However, I'm not a certified beautician who can magically transform a set of unruly eyebrows. I find them really irritating to be honest, especially when my hair colour is significantly lighter than my eyebrows.

I scrutinise them way too much, maybe more than a normal person should.

Hence, I caved and decided to give the Etude House Color My Brows in #4 Natural Brown. I was hoping that this brow product will do a decent job in lightening the colour of my eyebrows, and it certainly did.

The Etude House Color My Brows is now my go-to brow product! I don't use an eyebrow pencil anymore because I'm not proficient enough in using it for a well-diffused, blurred-at-the-edges look. So, this brow product is excellent!

The Etude House Color My Brows targets customers who have too-dark or too-light eyebrows and want to match their eyebrows to their hair colour (me, me, ME!). I got it for S$7.70 (free Korea normal airmail) on Qoo10! There are 5 shades available - #1 Rich Brown, #2 Light Brown, #3 Red Brown, #4 Natural Brown and #5 Blondie Brown.

As you can see in the photo above, my eyebrows look significantly lighter. They match my hair colour perfectly and overall, my face looks less harsh when I have this product applied.

It lasts an entire day without touch-ups (brilliant!) and the product does not melt under extremely hot/huid weather.

The Etude House Color My Brows has certainly become a staple in my life! Love it!!

Favourite Sheet Mask: Leaders Insolution AC-Dressing Skin Clinic Mask

I have tried so many sheet masks, but I always ended up going back to the Leaders Insolution AC-Dressing Skin Clinic Mask. It's one of my most favourite sheet masks to use and it's also one of the most effective.

There are many sheet masks out there that claim to target acne-prone skin, but they simply do nothing for acne-prone skin! The least such a sheet mask can do is to reduce redness after one to two applications, but most of them just performed way below expectations. The Leaders Insolution AC-Dressing Skin Clinic Mask, on the other hand, remains to be the only sheet mask that works for my acne-prone skin.

How amazing is this sheet mask?

Let me give you an example on how effective this mask is.

Last night, I had a major skin turmoil. My nose and upper lip area were extremely red and painful, and I could feel a few pimples forming. So I went ahead with my normal cleansing and exfoliating routine, and then applied this mask. Instantly, the affected area felt cold and less painful. After a good 45 minutes, I removed the mask, and astonishingly, the redness had disappeared quite a bit and I could only feel slight pain. After that, I just applied my usual moisturiser with a little bit of tea tree oil, and I went to sleep.

This morning, I woke up to no redness on my face and although the painful sensation is still lingering, it's nothing to be bothered about. I'm so pleased with how the Leaders Insolution AC-Dressing Skin Clinic Mask has worked on my skin! And it's only after ONE application.

One more reason to love this Leaders Insolution range of masks is how well the sheet mask covers your face. The sheet mask is made out of a gel-cloth material and this enables the mask to perfectly fit every angles and corners on your face. No air bubbles at all and you don't feel like you have a stiff sheet mask on. It's like you soaked a damn expensive tissue in damn good liquid and applied it on your face. Very luxurious feeling, for just slightly over S$2!

I bought 5 of these and I'm scared of running out. I think I need to get more!!

It's available in Watsons and Luxola.com, but if you want to buy it cheaper, you can buy it on Qoo10!

There are 8 different variations in the range, so there's definitely one that will suit your individual skin concerns!!

(x)
I'm not sponsored to write this review at all. I just love the Leaders Insolution AC-Dressing Skin Clinic Mask too much! It's like a miracle skincare product for me!!
