BLOGMAS Day 15: H&M rings are so affordable!!

Why is H&M offering so many way-too-affordable accessories? Like a set of rings for S$2.90?! Initially, I stepped into H&M hoping to get a nice shift dress, but I stepped out with no apparels, but with hair clips and a truck of rings.

I have 10 fingers, but I ain't wearing one or two rings at any one time. I love stacking them rings and sometimes I slotted way too many until I had to remove all of them before I could type properly and comfortable at work. One reason why I love rings is because .... my fingers are the only body parts of mine that fit a size S. :D Strange hor? But yes, I have very strange fingers. I think when I lose weight, I lose the most from my fingers. I have rings from years back that are way too big now.

H&M now is my go-to place for rings!

The first two buys were random - I wanted to add a little bit of youthfulness to my daily blah and grim outfits. In the end, I picked bows in blah and grim colours. HAHA can you imagine me with a bright yellow bow on my head? No man, nooooo.

From here on, some of you may see me as a ring-hoarder/finger-overaccessoriser/a girl who can't be bothered with her nails, but yes those are extremely accurate portrayals. I have way too many rings and I'm not stopping because wahlao super chio and make me happy then okay liao lah.

The 5 sets of rings below cost me less than S$22 in total. Very good!

Siao liao...

...but excited to wear them all.

From today onwards, it's a single-digit countdown to Christmas. 2014, you sprinter is it??

New in: Rings from H&M

Yesterday was post-surgery day 1 and I was too jumpy to stay at home. So I decided to reward myself and I went out on a quick shopping session. It was a 2-hour session at JEM and I didn't really get many things. I bought the above rings for less than S$12 in total. Quite a bargain and H&M is really scoring high marks in the ring department.

Today's post-surgery day 2 and I still can't consume solids and hot liquids. So, I'm stuck with coffee, milo and various juices. I wanted to buy ice cream but the fridge in my house is officially broken down?! The washing machine broke down, the air con broke down, the printed broke down and now the fridge is a goner as well?!

Not consuming so much food has its positive as well. I have lost around 1.5kg and I know, I know, I'm losing my muscle weight + water weight, but very shiok to have flat tummy for damn long and to see the numbers keep going down? :D Of course, when I'm fully healed, I'll have to train my muscles and continue my running again - I have a 10km marathon to run in August with Eve!

Have a good day guys! :)

Reorganising my rings + DAISO Haul

I was on a mission when I entered DAISO today. Usually I just wander around, throwing things into my cart, but this time I was really well-behaved and I just headed straight to what I needed.

The first thing I really must must must purchase was a container for my rings. My LV container was great at first, but as I continued bingeing on rings, it became too small. :( Hence, I really needed something practical to store my ever-growing collection of rings!

Crazy mountain of rings that I had. I counted over 90. I have gone mad.

This is the container that I bought! It's spacey enough inside and it's stackable! So yay!

The second thing that I really needed was one of those nifty medicine boxes, in which you can store your meds in it by the serving. You know, one box storing one day's worth of meds, so that you don't forget, and so that you can bring your meds while travelling, without lugging around huge bottles of meds.

So I got this blue medicine box and yay now I'm looking forward to my Genting trip! :)

Yes I take quite a number of supplements everyday. It struck me not long ago that I'm no longer as young as I used to be, and hence my health has deteriorated. I just take EPO (evening primrose oil - great for period pains and good skin), vitamin e (for good skin) and the normal multi-vitamins.

EPO is really quite magical. Ever since I took it (June 2012 or thereabout), I have extremely minimal period pains. Even for those first-day cramps.

I stocked up on some tea and got myself some green tea and roasted green tea. I usually drink tea every night before I sleep, and since I can't be bothered with brewing tea leaves and all that, I just rely on good ol' tea bags.

I also got some insoles. This was an extremely important purchase because I needed some insoles for my too-big Dr Marts! I bought my shoes in size 39 because 38 was too tight, and alas, 39 proved to be too loose to be worn on its own. So before insoles, I used to spam socks and I would have blistering hot feet all day. Blergh.

The insoles worked wonderfully and yay to a nicely-fitting Dr Marts now! :)

DAISO is simply the best store on Earth. I can already imagine my future home, all furnished with nifty gadgets from DAISO.

Rings and Bracelets Obsession

The story is if I counted the amount of money I spent on rings and bracelets, I think I can get enough to buy a pair of Underground creepers. Maybe two.

All my rings stuffed inside an LV makeup pouch, which was passed down by my grandma.
I don't think I have enough bracelets. To be really honest. Hmm.
homg. I really need a pair of Underground creepers. Especially one in gunmetal, or maybe one if ox blood. ARGH. Why are these shoes so expensive?!
