Jeans, Japanese and Jazzy Lips

2 weeks ago, I suddenly felt that there were very few good pairs of good jeans in my possession. So naturally, I went on a jeans shopping spree.

Luckily, ZARA, H&M and Pull&Bear had amazing discounts on most of their items, and I scored three pairs of jeans for less than S$100.

The most expensive pair was this from ZARA - S$49.90. The best thing about this pair is that it stops right at my ankle - no folding needed! Also, the material is really soft. I love it so much, I wore it more than 3 times to work already.

I got some basic ones from H&M as well. This pair was S$24.95, but I had a S$20 voucher, so I paid less than 5 bucks. :D

Not as soft as the ZARA one, but still incredibly comfortable. The thicker waist band also helps to flatten any food baby.

I realised after many applications of matte lipsticks that I have very dry lips. Mostly my fault, because I don't take care of my lips at all. No lip exfoliation and no lip balm. So now, I'm regretting lah. Haiyah. Time to pay more attention to my lips if I want my lipsticks to look polished all day long!

If you haven't noticed, it's one of my random blogposts, where I swerve sharply from one topic to another without warning.

Yes, so I had ramen again at Ramen Bar Suzuki and I sincerely love the ramens here. So so so good and so many Japanese dined here!

More Japanese food - this set was from Tampopo.

I cannot call Dorabanana xiaomeimei already. She's going to be 21 this year liao! No more xiaomeimei!

One more swerve,

on Sundays, I love making nice healthy breakfasts for myself!

Hope none of you got headaches from those swerves. Have a good week ahead! :D

Monochrome & prints

Sunday's coming to an end. I have a new Elixir Juice order that just arrived (this time all fruits because my previous order had celery juice in all my selections and I really don't like celery juice) and I just made a Taobao order. So many blogpost drafts created, and I'm tired from taking photographs and editing them.

On a really exciting note, Kengyang's coming back in 2 weeks' time. HOORAH! :))

Have a great Sunday guys!

OOTD - TDF (to die for) Zara leggings

Sometimes it's so difficult getting ready in the morning. I want to wear something different so that I have material for Instagram but I also want to be comfortable for the long workday ahead.

I have come to a conclusion that I'm more of a comfort person. I buy a lot of experimental apparels but I always go back to the same few outfits.

I didn't regret purchasing my new Zara leggings though. They are a dream to wear and I already know I'm going to wear them too much. I actually wanted to buy them a couple of months ago when a few fashion Youtubers raved about them. They were S$39.90 a pair and that's not a cheap price for a pair of leggings so I held back. I kept going back in to Zara to specifically feel the material and one night the obsession escalated and I DREAMT ABOUT THE LEGGINGS.

So ok lah, I got them. I got 2 pairs. :D They are so comfortable and incredibly slimming. I feel extra confident wearing them because suddenly I have uber flat tummy and my butt area looks painstakingly sculpted (like as if I embarked on a 30-day 200 squats and 2000 crunches regime).

The above photo is very silly. I'm raving about a pair of BOMBDIGGITY leggings but you can only see a little bit HAHA. But don't worry lah, I'm sure I'll wear this frequently and I promise to have a better photo next time!!

Outfit summary:
Printed top - Uniqlo (NT590)
Navy leggings - Zara (S$39.90)
Spiked sandals - Cotton On (on sale for S$10)
Mint bag - Taobao

Recent OOTDs: vintage skirt, ZARA lace cardigan and ZARA ombre lace shorts

It seems like I have hit a rut. I can't lose any more weight. However, I'm not stopping on the running because it actually makes my legs look nice and well-defined. Very lovely indeed. Whether I'm losing more weight or not, aiyah it will be awesome if I do, but ohwell, I don't really give a damn now anymore because I have already lost quite a substantial amount.

Yay to positive thinking!

First outfit is a typical office-lady outfit (as Anthony calls it haha). I purchased the vintage skirt online for a mere S$4. Always love bargains!

Paired the outfit with my adorable pair of 3D bow flats. 3D because the bows are so in your face. HAHA. I still remember the conversation I had with Fiona in office. I fear Fiona in the past because she looks extremely pretty and intimidating.

Fiona: Are those Melissas? *grin on face*
Me: *obviously flustered with her beauty* No larrrrr, fake one from Hong Kong!
Fiona: LOL (and so did everyone around me)

Next outfit was one that I dreamt of and it was one of those rare times when the reality looked as nice as the dream. :D

I wore a combination of my Monki bright orange cropped top with ZARA ombre lace shorts, and completed it with ZARA lace cardigan. I could be done with just the top and shorts alone, but we were having out 11th month dinner at Wild Honey, so I wanted to look a wee bit more presentable. :)

I wore my rose gold H&M flats too, and they bit. Freak.

ZARA lace cardigan - on sale for RM69.90 (from RM259.90)
Monki orange cropped top - HKD100
ZARA laze shorts - on sale for S$39.90 (from S$89.90)

My outfit so international sehhhh. HAHAHAHAH.

Yay to my beetle necklace from H&M - a steal at HKD30! :)

Ok, off I go to enjoy some slurpy goodness of a Yong Tau Foo now! :)
