Busy week

Going to be real busy this week. I doubt I have the time to update my blog, but I will try to update on Wednesday perhaps?

Coding is killer shitty and there's fLIPR articles to be rushed.

Ohemgee.

fucktards

Sellers who send items late should be hanged.

I am an online buyer who almost always pay immediately after I purchase something, or after I get an invoice from a seller.

Then now these people come and tell me 1 week after I paid that they have yet to send out the items?! HALO, because the items are instock that's why I buy from you right? Now I have to wait like as if I'm joining a spree. Seriously fucked up.

How come these people don't learn any online etuquette?

Macbook is back on my bed. :D

Having Macbook back in the bedroom is so calming. I just finished uploading photos, downloading new songs, listening to Jay Chou's new album, visiting all the beauty blogs, fashion blogs and slut blogs and most importantly, I CAN CODE! :D Not a very cheery thought but at least I can go back to earning some money. The savings are depleting at an alarming rate, self control was non-existent.

Hmmph.

But since my 21st is 11 days away, I shall just spend lar, DON'T CARE ALREADY!

At the moment I'm waiting for a lot of items in the mail. LOL. 10 separate envelopes to be opened. GLEEEE.

A couple of LOTDs of the past week.

Top: kop-ed from mom
Shorts: Cotton On
Shoes: Mondo

Top: Mango
Jeans: ZARA
Wedges: Online purchase

Some recent purchases:

Finally bought my platinum blonde hair dye. I was quite scared that the colour will go wrong or the colour will not suit my face, so I bought the darker colour, JUST IN CASE.

I need to start applying hair serum more regularly. At the rate I'm dying my hair, I will be botak by 30.

Got some more sheet masks from Gmarket. This time each mask was 30 cents. O_O Grabbed 20 and the total bill of 6 bucks made me feel like I saved a lot. Excuses.

I got 5 in deep sea water, 5 in seaweed, 5 in ocean shell and 5 in lavender. have yet to try them out because...

I have too many masks. WTS. They just accumulate. I MUST START USING THEM MORE REGULARLY.

Rachel also came back from USA last week! :D and ngli is coming back TODAY! :D

Rachel helped me buy something from maybelline! :D

The colours are very light, some are too light for my liking. I guess they will be good colours for inner lids to open up the eyes, or maybe as a brow highlighter (though I don't like shimmery brow highlighters).

I do adore the deep blue though. Very very pretty.

It's stated that the palette contains shimmery, matte and high-pearl finishes. Utter rubbish, there's no matte eyeshadows at all.

Even the white that looks matte, is of high-pearl finish.
URGH.

Also acquired another palette! Collection of huge palettes is growing! Damn awesome feeling.
This is normally 25 and above on Ebay, but I got it for 15 bucks on flowerpod forum. It came brand new some more (the marks below were due to my swatching).

I'm in love with the eyeshadows. SO SO SO PIGMENTED. Though some colours are rather chalky, but on a whole, they are of very good quality.

Swatches!

The blushes were okay. Some are really light in pigmentation. But I'm more excited about the eyeshadows anyway, so ho hum.

:D More haul posts coming up! I'm such a spender and I don't really care lar. :D

Musings much?

The plan to go to CCKSS for National Day Parade failed because I wanted to sleep more. Ohwell, CCKSS can always wait.

Yesterday was the day that I met the new Jagerbomb girl. She is very pretty - kind of demure, soft spoken pretty. Makes me wanna call Glenda up to change the pageant contestant but that will be cruel. So I shall let her be a Jo Quek, since they are both pretty, supposed to go pageant but never go for whatever reasons and still well-liked by guys and girls alike. (Yes this is an advertisement for Jo Quek because she reads my blog and so I must make sure my loyal readers are well-treated.)

Another loyal reader will be Natasha. For you, I'm going to conjure up some Bible of Ebay. :D
  1. First and foremost, shopping on Ebay requires optimum patience. You will not get lucky the first time round; that's not how the universe works. You have to keep going back on a daily, or once every two days, to search for better and better deals on the things that you want. Let us use heels as example objects.
  2. Obviously the most important and simple thing to do is to type "heels" on the search bar. Though that is not enough, you have to narrow it down further by selecting "Clothing, Shoes and Accessories" in the Categories bar. When your search results come out, you will realise they will even give you earrings shaped like heels and other irrelevant things. So you choose "Women's shoes" at the Refine Search bar to the left of your screen.
  3. After you can search results specific to what you need, you have to meddle with the price listings. For those looking for budget items, select "Price: Lowest First" and the Sort by: dropbox. These will show the search results in order of pricing, from the least costly to the most expensive. For those who have been searchind for days and days and still have yet to find the correct pair, select "Time: Newly Listed". This will provide you with search results in order of which pair is newly listed to which pair is ending soon.
  4. As I said, being on Ebay is easy, but getting the right pair requires time and luck. Whenever you see something for a cheap pricetag but the model is not necessarily what you like, just click on it and then when you reach the item-listing page, click "See other items" on the right hand side. This will show you all the products that this particular seller has listed out. Perhaps if you are lucky, you may find some surprise in the list. (This was exactly how I got my 3 pairs from the same exact seller; sellers on Ebay normally list out products in hope to get rid of them, so once they list one product as of some cheap price, the rest should have similarly cheap prices.)
  5. Very important: if you see sellers that sell products that you really like, please Save this seller to your favourites. These sellers may come back with new stuff!
  6. If you are unsure about whether or not you want to buy something, or whether or not there are cheaper alternatives, you can always 'Watch this item" first and it will automatically be on your My Ebay.
  7. *VERY IMPORTANT* - THIS IS TO MAKE SURE YOU DON'T GET CONNED OR SPEND MONEY UNNECCESSARILY DUE YO PRESSURE. Some Ebay sellers start the bidding prices for their products at a OMG $0.99. This will entice a lot of buyers, which will result in a bidding war. If the case is simple, the bidding war is participated by solely buyers. However, most of the time, the seller has 2 accounts; one as seller and one as a buyer. The buyer account will keep increasing and over-bidding your original bid, in hope that you will increase yours too. So in the end you may have to pay like $25 because of this unethical bidding war. So how to take note of this: when you bid, they will indicate how many bids have been made on the item. Click on it and see the details. Usually they will only show something like this - l*********s. Take note of this combination and go to every single product that the buyer has listed and check every single bidding history. If this combination keeps appearing, you know you won't have to waste your time anymore.
I can only think of these 7 steps now. Perhaps when something comes up, I will add on to this Bible. :D

Hope you guys find this useful! Comments and add-ons greatly appreciated too!

Jagerbomb Massive Outing V1 + shopping

Here are the awesome jagerbombers. I love my freshies. :D

I was trying out the latest bought eyeshadow palette from TaZhiang, and I am convinced to buy more. Damn good pigmentation and the colours stick from 3pm till 11pm. NEVER CREASE AT ALL. The eyeshadow base also helped its staying power, but for 2.90 a pop, I didn't expect it to work this well.

Feeling damn lazy to dress up again, so I just grabbed the trusted Forever 21 dress and some hugeass cardigan over it.

I feel the urge to make my hair colour lighter. Soon soon.

Purchases from shopping with kok yesterday!

I liked my bag so much that I bought another one in black. I previously bought one in red! :D

2 belts for 18 bucks. I think I got influenced by vivi.

A lace-imprinted blouse for 12 bucks. Very comfortable. The only problem I have is the collar. A bit too jutting out.

Some stuff from Rubi.
Comfort shoes (a must) - 10 bucks
Bangles - 2 bucks each. (this is damn weird, there was a black version but it was retailing for 5 bucks, while the silver one was 2 bucks. =/)

Denim wedges for 12.90.

It's a tad too big, but I WILL ROCK IT! :D

and I just returned all my debts. HOORAY!
Self-control is largely necessary now that my pay is in. Imagine all of it gone in a week's time. O_O
