Review: MISSHA Perfect Cover BB Cream

I have to thank Eve for helping me purchase this from Korea. I have used this BB Cream before but I collected only the sample sizes.=X I liked it so much but it was too pricey in Singapore! I was just waiting for someone to be in Korea so that I could get it, so thank you very much Eve! :D

The shade that I use is #23 Natural Beige.

The available colours are:
#13 Milky Beige (lightest shade)
#21 Light Beige
#23 Natural Beige (the difference between this and #21 is that it's more for olive-toned skin)
#27 Honey Beige (darker shade that's good for MAC NC30-35)
#31 Golden Beige (the difference between this and #27 is that it's more suitable for MAC NC30-35 with a hint of pink undertone)

With SPF42++, my skin has sufficient protection from the unforgiving sunlight. At this age (an old 22!), I have started to pay more attention to my skincare, and if you are not a fan of using sunblock on your face, you must invest in a good BB Cream that has a strong enough SPF!

MISSHA M Perfect Cover BB Cream also promises whitening and wrinkle care, which of course are never bad.

However, the reason why I like this BB Cream is not because of what it promises, but because of its extremely good coverage.

You will not want to see without makeup because I look like a ghost (really), so I prefer not to scare the people around me. But there are also times when I hate putting makeup on my face because it's such a hassle! This BB Cream is miraculous because just through one application, my eyebags and impurities are adequately covered, making me look a little bit more presentable; or at least a little fresher than usual.

The texture of this BB Cream is very smooth and extremely easy to blend. Consistency-wise, it is more on the thicker side. Some BB Cream are very watery, leading to you feeling like as if you have just applied a very mediocre tinted moisturiser. This has a thick formula and may need some getting used to because of how thick it is.

Also, because it is so thick, after you apply the BB Cream, you will like as if you have a mask plastered on your face. THAT IS NOT A GOOD FEELING. You put makeup to feel good, not to feel tied down.

I had a difficulty adapting to this BB Cream because it was so uncomfortable.

BUT FRET NOT, I have found the ultimate solution to this problem! Before you apply the BB Cream, be sure to apply a foundation primer. You must take note that a BB Cream is not a primer, it's more like a foundation, hence, by applying a primer beforehand, it will aid the absorption of the cream into the skin! My skin feels so much more lighter after I applied a foundation primer beforehand! :)

This is my current go-to face product. I no longer have to apply thick liquid foundation to cover my blemishes.

A word of advice to users with oily skin:

This BB Cream will make your skin oily faster than normal liquid foundations because it contains a lot of minerals. In this very humid Singapore weather, I will suggest that you matte the BB Cream right after application with your trusted loose powder. Time to time, you will have to blot your face with a tissue paper, but the coverage of the BB Cream will not lose effect throughout the day.

Overall, I will keep buying this product, especially when I know it promises whitening and anti-wrinkle essences! I will have to use it longer to see whether those promises are fulfilled or not!
