Stockholm - windier by day

Time for another humongous update on my "exciting" life in Stockholm. School has been nothing less than normal; readings and readings, nothing exciting.

My room's getting messier and messier though, and the toilet is foul; I really should clean it when I feel hardworking and domestic.

This past week has been quite awesome! :)

We went to watch a ice hockey match last Thursday. Home team lost, boo, but the atmosphere was major awesome.

The spectators were cheering NON-STOP, and it's not even an exaggeration. They really cheered continuously, and they sweared non-stop also. Very very awesome experience.

And then we had the opportunity of a lifetime to visit a Swedish country house. The house belonged to Charlie's mom. In case you guys are wondering, Charlie is the model for the current issue of ConnexSCIons together with the roomie, Jo Quek! He went for an exchange with NTU last semester!

So we were rather stoked to be going to a country house, BUT WE DID NOT EXPECT SUCH BREATHTAKING SCENERIES AND SUCH A BEAUTIFUL HOME!

This entire ice is the frozen Baltic Sea. It's crazy. We walked on it, jumped on it, and nothing happened. WE REALLY WALKED ON ICE. That was really THE experience.

And a silly shot of myself.

And a rather chio shot of myself. HAHAHAHA.

The sun began to set. I see this outside of my window occasionally when there is little cloud.

The girls were just lazying around while the guys cook. HAHA. Such sloths.

And chef Wang cooked lunch and breakfast for us! :) Fatty 2-day-1-night.

He really crazy one. LOOK WHAT HE'S WEARING!

Look at our snowman. HAHAHAHA. Look like blobfish. ew.

And we left our polaroids in the country home as gifts to Charlie's mom! :)

Chinese New Year approached and I was feeling really down because I had no ang paos to get and no good food to eat, and then WKWSCI surprised me! They sent me a CNY goodie pack and it was realllllllllllly nice of them! :) Apparently all the exchange students will receive it, and almost 100++ of our students are on exchange; now we know where the money goes heh?

BUT STILL, THANK YOU WKWSCI, MUACKS MUACKS.

I miss Dr D now, all of a sudden... and Marko and Mark...

MY NEW BOOTS. Just some random addition to this post since I'm obsessed with it.

YUM YUM YUM

OUR CHINESE NEW YEAR FEAST!! :) THANK YOU WILSON WANG ONCE AGAIN FOR AN AWESOME PARTY!

We had a lot to eat. Char Siew, Nasi Lemak, Chicken rice, Yakisoba, Yusheng, Mango Pudding etc etc.

Today, Emery and I had no lessons (ok she had 1 in the morning), so we went around Stockholm, just for some sightseeing. Here are some chio photos of the beautiful country!

Ok fail, this one I really must post. Jeffrey Campbell shoes for 50% off. I was damn tempted to buy but aiyah, these kinds of expensive shoes I shall buy when I work next time lar, now just budget budget.

Chio photos continue...

I realised I didn't post my hauls the last time. I was too lazy to take them out and organise them for photos, so I just took shots of the design lar. I bought lots of shirts and a pair of shorts too, but too lazy to take photos because they were mostly black and browns.

I bought this cute heart-print skirt from H&M for 10 sing dollars. YUMMY PRICE.

CHEAP MONDAY JEANS. This one was exactly 12 bucks. SIAO ONE. SINGAPORE SELLS FOR CLOSE TOO 200 BUCKS YOU KNOW. Damn awesome.

H&M bag for 10 bucks, Carlings beanie for 6 bucks.

Another Cheap Monday jeans. This one I really really like. It was 16 bucks. HALO STILL VERY VERY CHEAP. I now own 2 pairs of Cheap Mondays. I feel very happy. WEE.

And today's sightseeing was UTTER FAIL because I bought things from H&M AGAIN. LOL.

Got this from the men's department. Oversized studded denim shirt. CHIO CHIO CHIO. It was 40 bucks.

Elin Kling X H&M came out today and her collection was not my favourite collection in the world. It was just...too neutral for me. But I saw some of the pieces that she listed as her favourites in the store and this blazer was one of them! This is uber pretty and uber me. For 40 bucks!! The material is thin as well! So I can wear it in Singapore! HOORAH!

Lastly, got myself some makeup wipes since I ran out and also some Eucerin cream for the face for ultimate hydration in this wretched weather. Eucerin is cheap in Sweden!

And I shall continue with my adventures in Sweden. May start posting postcards too! WEE! :)

Take care you guys!
