I was trying out the latest bought eyeshadow palette from TaZhiang, and I am convinced to buy more. Damn good pigmentation and the colours stick from 3pm till 11pm. NEVER CREASE AT ALL. The eyeshadow base also helped its staying power, but for 2.90 a pop, I didn't expect it to work this well.

Feeling damn lazy to dress up again, so I just grabbed the trusted Forever 21 dress and some hugeass cardigan over it.

I feel the urge to make my hair colour lighter. Soon soon.

I liked my bag so much that I bought another one in black. I previously bought one in red! :D

2 belts for 18 bucks. I think I got influenced by vivi.

A lace-imprinted blouse for 12 bucks. Very comfortable. The only problem I have is the collar. A bit too jutting out.

Self-control is largely necessary now that my pay is in. Imagine all of it gone in a week's time. O_O

After giving the matter a deeper analysis, I realise my chances are as slim as me getting 5.0 when I graduate.

Which means, i really have to stop this emotional nonsense and stop being so depressed over someone who doesn't even know my existence.

At this rate, my goal of getting married when I'm 35 will slowly be achieved.

the dark sides of life.

I had a blast yesterday shopping, eating icecream and thai food, embarrassing myself because I was drunk, etc. Such an eventful night.

Eve introduced us to Tom's Palette and I'm in love with banana chocolate. ANYTHING WITH BANANA AND CHOCOLATE TOGETHER is awesome. :D sadly they don't really have mango. but this little cosy icecream heaven is worth my every single cent. NTU students get 10% off too! :D

My outfit for the day - being super lazy so I just wore my oversized shirt with lame leggings and Marc Jacobs flats. You cannot wear apparels that are too fancy for shopping. You want to be able to grab and go as fast as you can! :)

My compatriates for the first half of the day. I love taking photos of eveyeo. All damn unglam. Awesome to the max.



And we had Thai food for dinner. The restaurant was just opposite Tom's Palette. It was fucking good. Will always go back there for their damn tasty kangkong.

Off to Durty Nelly's for some heart-to-heart confessions.

Roomie and I. Next semester, my roomie will be chanhuiling, and I'm only bunking in with her for 4 days of the month. HAHA. Every Monday I will be in hall 1! WOOTS! no aircon, but got own toilet lar. so give and take lor. :D

I have the other blusher set, so am going to complete my collection. This is more of a bronzer palette, but for days that I want myself to look tanner, this will be awesome. 4.90 only! :D

Went for facial with eveyeo and mychan yesterday and the specialist said that I cannot use pimple cream because that's the cause of my many embedded acne. Extraction was motherfucking ouch. I swear never to use pimple creams anymore.

Then mychan and I went round causeway point and we found some awesome sales going on! :D

Watsons was having some clearance on their food items. And I found yanyan in all time favourite MANGO FLAVOUR. :D Have yet to try it. More of don't dare to try.

The week before FOC, I went to Lot 1 to get some shorts and all. I got 4 shorts from Cotton On and a pair of flats from Mondo.

Continuing from my shopping with mychan (the photos are jumbled up. geez), john little was having some 20%+20% off promotion and so we went crazy with the nail polishes. :D These were previously 9 bucks each, but after discounts they were 6.45!

I have to thank Junqi for this. She gave me some biore makeup remover to try ouy for fLIPR. :D this stuff is fucking awesome. Right after Finding Nemo, I used this to get rid of the massive junk on my face and a little goes such a long way! I'm in love with this product. Heard from Junqi that it's going to be launched on August, so YAY TO ME!

Chay Teng went to Korea and she helped to buy some awesome stuff! :D

And these were my purchases from sg_beauty. Seriously addicted to that place. Even if I got nothing to buy, I will try to get something. LOL.

As you can already feel, I'm not in the mood in describing every item. I'm still not well and this post is just another distraction to my insanity.

I'm progressing well in terms of being a cuckoo.

Can't wait for drinking session tomorrow. Cry my heart out.

emo emo emo. why so emo.

The day that I left WKWSCIFOC'10, I knew I was going to feel a little melancholic. Something that we have worked on for the past ten months has just passed and now the heart feels the tinge of emptiness.

FOC was successful.

Tears were shed.

However, when I reached home, the emptiness inside of me grew and grew, and surprisingly not because FOC is over.

I cried myself to sleep for the past 2 days, and I have been trying to figure out the reason behind my foolish act.

I sat down this morning; just staring out of my living room window. I did that for 2 hours. And I realised why I was being so emotional.

For 2 years, I have been absent on this specific field. I have given advices to others based on my miniscule amount of experiences, but when it comes to myself, I usually just brushed it away.

The feeling of insecurity is back again. It's back to the feeling I had in Secondary 4. Why would anyone like someone so fat and ugly. Why would anyone take notice of someone so inferior. How will I match up with the other person. All these were rushing back to me as I cabbed home on Friday night.

(I'm so sorry KY, but I really have to mention you in this post.)

I liked KY when I was in Secondary 3 and I had no idea how to handle it because of my low self-esteem. The strong exterior that I had was just a cover-up to whatever things that I cannot handle. This liking continued till I was in Secondary 4. It was a really tough time because all that flooded my thoughts were how inferior I was compared to him. I was fat, I had alien hair, he was the head prefect, he had a fanbase (I think) and all the other things that I couldn't hold up to.

Those feelings are now back.

I have been absent for too long.

Once again, I feel inferior. Once again, I want to just curl up and die. Once again, I want to be bulimic and fucking get everything out of my system.

And yes, I used to be bulimic for around 6 months until I realise my voice was changing and I couldn't sing as well for choir. Till now, I regret that moment, but the past 2 nights have been bugging me to go back to the dark side.

This is the time that I announce that Fitrina Lim has officially lost control of her confidence and self-esteem.

That only happens when...

Fitrina Lim starts to fall deep for someone else.

I cried this morning because I think I have constipation. A very inappropriate topic to be mentioned, but i urge my readers to give me advices on how to solve this calamity. (Oh, the reason I cried was because my tummy was bloated and I really felt like an elephant. Bimbotic I know, but you always will have these days.)

the agony of a part time research assistant

Positive points:

1. For something that's own time own target, the money is really good.
2. I get to see what I need to expect as a budding communication research student. (experience points fulfilled)
3. My boss always treats us to lunch whenever we have a meeting in school.
4. I have really amiable coding partners, with the exception of one siao chanhuiling.
5. I learn about advertisements and their effects on obesity. Sounds really corny, but I'm sincerely learning things.

Negative points:

1. Money is good, but pay is taking ages to come in. I have worked for almost 2 months, and I have yet to be paid.
2. My social life has been reduced to ashes. I spend half of the week in school and another half of the week at home coding.
3. Looking at excel sheets makes me want to barf out my breakfast every morning.
4. My laptop has been suffering from coding because I keep downloading new softwares to support the dvds. That's also because the old softwares kept hanging. So now my MacBook is in a rally bad condition.
5. Since my work requires me to sit infront of the laptop/desktop computer all day long, I am really scared that I will have additional tummy rolls. However, that has been solved because Ron introduced the p90X abs-ripper on Youtube and I can kiss fat tummy goodbye. :D

More ranting:

What I have to do this week sounds simple, but it's oh-so-tedious. Basically, weeks ago we have written down all the numbers for all our Singapore advertisements for the respective channels. And I'm in-charge of the knnbccb Channel 8, which has the most number of advertisements due to its higher ratings.

So, I have to insert these numbers to the excel sheets. Sounds really simple right?

Fucking wrong.

For each advertisement, I have around 30+ numbers to key in and also I have to write out the audio, visual text and visual picture descriptions.

I have 1286 advertisements. Do the math.

Oh did I mention that my advertisements are mostly in Chinese? FML ttm.

major haulage part 1

It's 3am. ohmygoodness. This lifestyle is killing my sleeping habit and ruining my skin condition.

The title reads "major haulage part 1". The parts exist because I just paid for a whole lot of cosmetics from sg_beauty. LOL.

Talk about self-control. Ohwell, I shall starve this coming week. Hide at home and not go out at all.

Firstly, Topshop shirt/dress for 10 bucks from Ebay. This is super see through. Need to find some kind of dress that can be worn underneath this monstrosity.

The next 2 dresses were 2 for 25 bucks, both from Forever 21 I think.

Extremely short dress, good with leggings. I'm loving the mixed tribal prints though. Kind of like different patches of cloth sewn together.

This was a size S and I could fit into it. Sizes baffle me sometimes.

Ah, this dress that brightened my really horrid Friday.

I have never ordered this dress before and it came in my mail, complete with my address and name spelled as Futriana.

I guess I joined too many contests and maybe I don't even remember winning anything. LOL.

Forever 21 V-neck tee. This is uber comfortable. I need more of this kind of tees!

Marc Jacobs shirt. Extremely soft material. The only downside will be that it's quite figure hugging on the waist area and I don't really have flat abs. hohum. Shall work on those abs. HAHA.

Zipia cardigan.

Very very long cardigan. Good for lazy days. =D

Since Daiso opened in Bukit Panjang Plaza, I have been frequenting it a lot. Bought some snacks for my drama marathon. :D

And loose powder.

I have yet to try this though. But from what i read in beauty blogs, it's quite good! :D

Lenny is awesome. He went to some kind of event and he got a really awesome goodie bag. These Hada Labo toner packs are quite good! One pack can be used up to 3 times I think. Awesome awesome.

Oh and I received some vouchers from Lenny! Good thing I'm turning 21 in August. These vouchers expire on 30 Sep 2010 and they only allow customers who are 21 years old and above.
