i cannot help but smile..

... when I see the many lights in town

... when I play around with escalators

... when I look at toddlers laughing for no reason

... when I'm alone, admiring all the wonderfulness of our Mother Earth

I just smile myself silly.

While waiting for Avatar, I saw this toddler roaming around the Level 6 lobby. He was eating an apple, unskinned and all. His mom wanted him to pose with the Avatar poster, and he couldn't be bothered to do so, so he just started running around. After the 4th or 5th time, he realised what he was supposed to do and he laughed out loud for no reason.

That laughter brought joy to many of us who were waiting to be admitted into the movie theatre. Everyone stopped complaining about how inefficient the service was and was transfixed by the laughter. The feeling of discontent draining and it being replaced utter adoration for the little human being was too complex to be described.

Kids.
